Made in Spain, excellent quality.
Made in SpainThese are beefy, clearly made of high quality steel. As I need to add or replace my USA made Vise Grips I've been getting these, the Chinese Irwin ones are junk. I even like these better than my USA Vise Grips! You can feel the quality, and the release lever is better in design. I use these for removing stuck nuts or holding things in the field if I need to weld. I am a industrial mechanic by trade. If you can't find USA made, these Spanish ones are excellent.***NOTE Ones I received were the orange epoxy, not nickel as the page indicates, makes no difference to me.

Not the Same in the Photo.
I only gave it 3 Stars because I received the Orange and Black ones and not the Nickel-Plated ones which are the ones that I wanted.

Really nice
Bought these on a lark to compare to Vice Grips and other brands of similar tools. I heard that Grip On was the supplier of these tools to a major tool truck brand. It wouldn't surprise me at all. These are very high quality. Excellent fit and finish, and constructed very well. I think they are made in Spain. Some might believe that it's better than in China, like Vice Grips are now. I'm pretty satisfied with these.

Feel stable, made in Spain, and looks better than the picture
Grip-On are the only locking pliers I could find that are not made in China. They are actually quite light. I'm not sure if that's good or not. They don't have the heft of the Made in USA Vice Grips (current Vice Grips are made in China). However, since those aren't around anymore, I went with Grip-On.Also, they aren't that photogenic. The actual pliers are still ugly, but look much better than this picture.

Three Stars
About average but wire cutters do not cut very well.
