The book feels a bit dated, ie itโs not hugely stylish. However the recipes are innovative and varied with pictures of each. I own many middle eastern cookery books and there is something different about this one.

Great 'cook book'..,with lots of tips and help ..like your bestie is explaining how to make delicious food. They might be vegan, but no one will even think about that when consuming this deliciousness xx

A book worth having in your library... even if your are not VEGAN!!!
I have been lucky enough to get a signed copy of YASOU. Miriam's recipes are a wonderful collection of mouth watering plates and proven to satisfy your appetite. I can guarantee that Miriam passionately tried each and every recipe in her book. She selected the best plates for her second book. I also had the pleasure to taste some of her creations and, every time, I was surprised how she can turn simple ingredients into mouth watering food. I recommend food lovers to get hold of a copy of Miriam's book. You won't be disappointed!!!

An absolute MUST HAVE for your collection! Joyous recipes from the Eastern Mediterranean.
Oh my! I knew this book from Miriam Sorrell would be worth the wait. Greek and middle eastern fusion food. Tasty, ultra close-up shots of every dish, loads and loads of interesting recipes all printed on beautiful glossy paper. If you love the flavours of the Eastern Mediterranean,and you want to eat crueltyfree food, then this book is an absolute must for your collection. It's a joy! Well worth the money, and would make a beautiful gift for any vegan cook.

The Diva of books on my bookshelf
If it is possible for a published book to literally slap you in the face with aromas ... I have never seen a more beautiful presentation of some of my favourite foods, and done with unique flair. Miriam Sorrell has added her own to each and every recipe. I read the whole thing through on the first day (I was mesmerised). I happen to have a well stocked pantry and will make every one of these ... I just cannot decide which one first! Perhaps the Spanakopita Tart (recipe for plant-based feta included). I'm in love.
