can you put it under your neck and lie on it rather than pressing it against your neck?

You can lay the KOA on the floor face up and lay your head on the finger prongs to help apply pressure on trigger points on your head or scalp.  You can also place the KOA on the wall, position the side prongs onto trigger points you want to work on, and lean your weight into it to release tension on painful, sore knots.  Hope that helps!

I bought this but there are no instructions. Can someone help?

Thank you for your purchase of the KOA Elite fascia massage tool! We are so sorry your package failed to include the instruction manual it usually comes with.  Here are some tips on using your KOA:
1. Drink plenty of water, hydrate frequently. Combine this tool with proper diet and exercise on a consistent basis for best and faster results.
2. Do not press too hard initially, especially for sensitive skin. Work on increasing pressure gradually as your comfort level allows. 
3. Use it dry over smooth, thin clothing or with anti cellulite lotion, massage oil, or pain relief cream on the targeted areas for a period of 2-5 minutes per area. Gradually increase the time as tolerance allows.
4. Apply pressure, hold, and wiggle the massage fingers deep into the tight muscles to release tension, then massage product side to side or up and down across targeted areas firmly within your comfort level. Use at least once daily. Frequency is subjective based upon personal need, preference and comfort level.
5. Depending on the severity of your stiff muscles, you will need to apply enough pressure to release the tight muscles/adhesions, etc. It does HURT, and it may bruise, but the more you work the area, the more pain will lessen until it goes away.

Yes, the KOA Fascia Massage Tool is waterproof and can definitely be used in the hot tub, shower, sauna, gym, or anywhere else!

Is this tool small enough to use on my face?

Accepted Answer

For the face, we would recommend the KOA Platinum stainless steel tool. The smaller stainless fingers are helpful in getting into the smaller details of your face, hands, feet, neck and other areas, and includes a Gua Sha handle. The Gua Sha handle can also be helpful in reducing edema and aid in lymphatic drainage.
