Runn... Retrofit Smart Treadmill Sensor - Make Your Treadmill a Smart Treadmill!

This thing made my old treadmill so much better!I put this on my old Sole F63. For the marks on the tread belt, i used a white paint pen and it works great. I use it with my peloton and zwift app and have no trouble with connectivity, etc.Because this is charged via cable - instead of removing it from the treadmill to charge, I purchased a long cable and plug it in without unmounting it.

Very easy to set up and configure on a 10 year old Nordictrak 1750. The stickers didn't stay on the treadmill, but used with car touch up paint as the markers.It works well with the Peloton treadmill app - tracks the pace, but doesn't doest track incline it seems. It's not 100% accurate, but it's close enough and much better than my Apple Watch or Garmin.Update 3 - there were two sets of stickers in my kit. The first one (originals) were didn't stick too well. The second - Girard - tough to peel off from the backing, but sticks much better to the belt. Time will tell how lasting the adhesion will be. Kudos to the marketing team.

I've had my treadmill for almost 2 years now and I had intended to get one of these back when I first got it. It never really mattered that much until I got a coach last year and then the inconsistency between the treadmill and outside was really making some of my training difficult to track properly. I considered getting a Stryd but the cost was really putting me off. Then my wife got serious about training for a half marathon we're running next year and I remembered this thing.All I can say is "Wow!". What a game changer! My treadmill runs slightly faster than what's on the display (5 - 10s per mile) and does that pretty consistently through every pace so its not hard to deal with for workouts. It was so easy to set up too. My only issue was the stickers just didn't really want to stick to the tread but that was easily solved with some dabs of superglue. Its amazing because it "just works". It shows up as a footpod on my Garmin 955 Solar and I can just go! All of my other metrics come from my HRM Pro. I'll be pairing it to my wife's 945 as well so she can benefit from it.Now I don't need to spend extra time trying to get my workout out of iFit and into TrainingPeaks so my coach can see it and its more accurate to boot!

Mount is flimsy, barely holds device.Mounting tape loses stickiness after a month so device barely holds on.Reflective tape sensors don't stay on at speed.Reflective tape sensors don't stay on overnight.For an entire day it didn't work at all and since there's no real interface aside from a pretty terrible app, I had no idea why. Magically started working the next day.But when you put 15 minutes into getting it working right and don't run too fast, it's great!Of course it didn't start really acting up until day ~35 and cannot be returned. Wish I'd have bought a footpod.

Despite reading the manual, watching videos, searching forums, and talking to customer support I was never able to get it to work as intended.

Does a great job of connecting with my Petition app and tracking speed on my older treadmill, but it didn’t have about adjustment to get incline to show correctly, between the two notches it’s either showing negative incline when it’s at 0 or 2 incline

I use it mostly to connect my treadmill speed, XTERRA TR150, that doesn’t have any option to wirelessly broadcast its speed. My iPhone and/or iPad are able to connect to it, and then use it with Zwift or Zwift Companion app without any issues so far. Returning as this does not work with the Apple ecosystem, I have an Apple Watch Ultra 2 and an iPhone 15 Pro Max and I’m using Apple fitness plus and it doesn’t work with anything. You launch the heartbeatz app from the Apple Watch and start a workout and it conflicts with the Apple fitness plus workout And does not allow you to finish a workout with the heartbeatz app. All I got was the option to resume or discard that being said it also didn’t track any information when I did a run yesterday at least not the information that counted like incline I really wanted to like this product have been looking at it for years. It just does not work for me.
