I use these far more often than I thought I would. The strainer is so easy to clean and size is ideal for just about any kitchen prep. The mixing bowl doubles as a server in a pinch and is lightweight and durable.

Use for cold items not hot
They work for cold items and not for hot items like pasta or rice. The hole sizes are a good size for the water to drain. Cleaning them are really easy.

Stainless Is Far Better Than Plastic
Stainless steel is far better than plastic. Plastic wears out faster and harbors bacteria as opposed to stainless steel. This stainless steel colander is lightweight too.

Durable, Washes rice & fruit'n'veggies
Durable and easy to use, perfect size for the amount of rice I need to clean and rinse. The drainage is fine, some rice gets through and thats alright. The design is silver and round and functions like a bowl. Probably best to rinse off dirty fruits.
