Nice size reel for walleye but drag is not great
I like the feel of this reel. It performed okay on walleye trolling but had a couple observations. The release switch is real close to the line counter. Not a real deal breaker just kind of annoying that you had to reach to find the release. The other issue and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the drag is not very strong, good enough for big walleyes but it would slip and it would catch which could lead to lost fish. I like the size, kind of compact but holds enough line, clicker strong and problems. A lot of aluminum..handle, drag etc.. But because of the drag I will not be buying again.

Not a Cadilac but not bad either
Haven’t had this long enough to give thorough review but i have spooled it with 30lb braid, put a 1oz weight on and cast it a few times. It aint no Caddy but it seems ok for me. I’ll mostly be letting it out to troll rather than cast it but it did cast my 1 ouncer out 60 - 70 ft. It wasn’t the smoothest and there was some noise but I think that was a subtle “clicker’ which is built in and i like that. (Two levels of clicker - 1 big manual clicker and 1 subtle all-the-time clicker). I want my reels to talk to me when there’s anything GD thing going on at all - hung up? Fish on? TALK TO ME! Talk tome BEFORE the line breaks, or the rod breaks, or the fish gets off, and deffinately before I turn around just in time to watch the whole GD thing fly out of the boat and head down to see Davie Jones.I might get back to report on the drag later - if I remember to.
