Took a long time to finish, but I was proud of the result in the end. The amount of thread and beads is generous so you won't have to worry too much if you lose a few beads or keep splitting the thread trying to get it through the extra thin needle for the extra small beads. Just don't double thread. I usually do this when I'm sewing and I'm glad I didn't for this project because I definitely would have run out if I had used twice as much thread. Also, double-check the reference guide at the top as well as the product image. I got the marks for the matte turquoise and the dark teal-green beads mixed up a few times and had to undo a lot of work to fix it. It was a long and sometimes tedious project, but great if you have an audiobook, podcast, long-form YouTube essay, or just some music you want to listen to while you have something to occupy your hands. I would have gotten the red counterpart to this blue fish, but betta fish are highly aggressive and territorial, so it's best to keep them apart.
