RC Storage Bag for 1/14, 1/16 and 1/18 Car, RC Carry Case with Tool pockets for Easy Storage and Transport

I am new to the RC hobby and purchased this bag to keep my 1/18 Capra in. Evrything fits in very well and there is ample space for the charger and tools and assorted other pieces. The lid has a great pocket for the manual and paperwork. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

I picked this up to Carry my Kyosho Mini-z's (1/28 scale), tools, and spare parts. it is a great bag, it carry's all 4 of my Mini-z's in the cases I 3D printed for them along with the tools for working on the cars, battery case, both transmitters I Carry, and other little odds and ends needed. the only thing I would have liked to have would be a Shoulder Strap (I did know it would not have one when ordering/so no removing stars). when it comes to carrying R/C cars this bag is great. has plenty of room and very well made. the main area of the bag has lots of space, along with 2 stretch pockets on the back and the top has a pocket that is almost the entire size of the opening. there is a pocket on each side for transmitters, it fits both the transmitter that comes with the Mini-z and a FlySky Noble NB4 transmitter. on the front of the bag there is a double zip pocket with a verity of smaller pockets got tools and other small items. overall it a great bag, and I see myself using it for a while.

It's a pretty good RC vehicle carrier, and it's a perfect fit for the 1/18th scale Axial Capra. First, lets talk about the good aspects of the carrier. The outer material appears to be very hardy and should be durable over time. The zippers are very easy to pull, with no kinking or binding at all. The outer pockets are handy for the radio on one side, and a spare pair of wheels in the other pocket. Clip style locks for those pockets close well with a loud click and are pretty easy to open with some finger pressure. The inside of the bag has Velcro straps to secure the Capra, but I've stopped using them because there isn't much room for the car to move around on its own. The tool pocket can hold spare batteries, wrenches and screwdrivers, and other things like that. As for the improvements that could/should be made to make the bag better, they are the following. Adding D rings on both sides of the top opening would permit you to add a shoulder strap. Right now, you're stuck with a hand strap only. The inner two pockets are only large enough to hold 2 spare wheels. Most of the time, guys change all 4 at the same time, which means that you need to use an outside pocket to hold the other pair. The bottom of the car pocket is very lightly padded, and that's a plus. But, there's no structure so it's easy for the bottom to deform. I'm probably going to add a thin plywood layer to stiffen up the bag. There should be feet on the outside bottom of the bag. Could be made of plastic or rubber. Adding feet means that the bag doesn't have to sit on the ground, and if you've been to a track or rocky area, the ground is not pretty especially after a rain.
