This is an absolute necessity if you have any type of leg injury/surgery. I just had a knee replacement and have struggled with being able to lift my leg however this strap has made a complete difference. It is sturdy, bendable and so easy to use. It makes it so easy to be able to lift my leg to get in and out of bed, vehicles, assist with exercises. Definitely recommend this product!!

This is really a great product! It stays stiff when using to loop your foot, but also folds compactly up for bag or purse. FYI it is not lavender/purple at all. Hot pink! Don’t care tho it works great!

I was recently in a car wreck and broke my femur. After surgery, I needed something to help get my leg into bed, into a car, or elevated for proper healing and to prevent swelling in my leg. This leg lifter has been a great help in managing the painful mobility of my leg. I love the bright color choice as it makes it easy to find and keep handy. It's made of a durable coated material that won't fray along the edges. The pliable metal insert in the long piece keeps it stationary enough to easily slip it over my foot when needed. I'm 5'8" and it's the perfect length! Great value at $10.

I got plenty of advice from friends and family about my upcoming hip replacement surgery, so i knew i should get a few helpful gadgets for getting around afterwards. This lifting strap is the best invention ever for post-surgery!!! I checked out a bunch before settling on this one. The straight piece at the bottom of the foot loop is very helpful to keep the loop open when trying to slip it over your foot. The handles along the strap make it easy to hold as you lift your leg up. The best part is kind of hard to describe, but its not just a floppy canvas strap. It can be held out straight, it holds its shape like its a stick, or it can be bent as needed. i hooked it around my neck sometimes to take it from room to room as i hobbled along with the walker. And being able to keep it straight was also very helpful when trying to get your foot in the loop. I used it to get my leg up into bed, up onto the couch, and in and out of the car. This simple gadget is absolutely essential for recovering from hip surgery and probably knee surgery as well. Get it, you will be glad you did!

This has been a wonderful product to use after my recent hip replacement surgery. Makes lifting leg into bed, or up while seating so easy!! GET IT!!!!

I used this strap in bed to help me lift my weaker right leg in the bed during the night to move it around for comfort and to enable me to pull my leg up and do exercises with it. It was wonderful, but the consistency of the strap or the dyes in the fabric made the calf of my leg ache, so I stopped keeping it around my leg at night, and will air the strap away from me to see if more time out of the package will help my leg not ache. Perhaps airing it more will not cause any more reaction. It should prove a great help for my handicapped leg.

Really good to help get into bed. Unfortunately my mom kept bending her knees and couldn't figure it out.

Excellent tool for lifting and exercising leg after surgery.

Strong enough to do the job and stitching and fabric are good. However, the foot hold needs to be squared to the length of the item. If it's resting on the floor, or firm surface, it's easy to get your foot in. However if you're lying down etc, it flops around and is a lot harder to get onto your foot. It's value for money, a good price, but I'll keep looking for one with the foothold squared to the upright.
