It works great
This is the only thing I found that keeps the fluffy tailed spawn of Satan (Rabbits) from eating my flower gardento the ground. You shouldn't put it on food crops because it is systemic capsicum so unless you like spicy carrots Etc. don't

Wow - something that actually WORKS... UPDATE
The media could not be loaded. Have a lot of bad neighbors on my street who let their dogs go anywhere (even though they aren't supposed to, and we also have a leash law). One purposely takes his dogs right over to my yard to go. You can't say anything to these people - everyone out here is disagreeable and if you say anything, no matter how nicely, they will just do it all the more. And you can't complain to HOA, the HOA will accuse you of lying or doctoring pictures and videos. So, I have boulders lined up along the edge of my front yard to discourage dogs, which helps a lot, but not right next to the corners of the driveway. This is where they all go potty. These people don't even care that there are security cameras staring them right in the face. Anyway, best solution I had found was hot chili powder which DOES work, but it is problematic to spread around and washes away easily, and in the desert sun doesn't stay potent very long. Not to mention on gravel it's bright red so attracts unwanted attention. So tried this product, spread it around last night and this morning when the neighbor who purposely uses my yard as a potty came out to let all three of his dogs go there, they wouldn't. And to my surprise they would not even walk on the gravel! And this neighbor actually took his three dogs out three different times this morning to try to get them to go there. So, I'd say this was a success. I live in the desert, front yard is all gravel, no idea if this product works any less well on grass or other vegetation. Will update review after have used it for a while, but initial impression after first application is WOW... those three dogs are the worst offenders and they wouldn't even walk on the gravel. Amazing. Results will vary for everyone, I'm sure. In my photo you can see the corners of my driveway where I applied the granules, and also the offending neighbor on the way back from an unsuccessful potty outing, lol... UPDATE - this was too funny not to share. Added a video to this review. The offending neighbor still walks his dogs right across the street to my yard so his dogs can go potty. Think he knows by now I put down a new repellent. They pass up my yard, again, and in the video you can see they go right into my neighbor's yard. Security cameras have a lot of uses, some very amusing. Great product, I ordered some more and will apply some once a week...

I THINK this works ... as part of a bigger strategy
It’s rather expensive, and I wish it was available in larger bulk sizes that were cheaper per unit of measure. BUT I do think this stuff helps repel deer. I don’t think it’s the only product to use, and I don’t think it provides protection for as long a time as they suggest, but I’ve been using it successfully.Things to keep in mind: it takes time for the granules to dissipate into the soil and for the ingredients to be taken up by the roots and the plants. So you need to be spraying your plants with repellent before and during the first couple of weeks after application. Also: the pellets they make are very good. Useful for new plantings. Just drop one in the hole for a plant, a few more than that for s new shrub, a few more than that for a new tree. They are especially useful at repelling voles, which attack plants from the roots. I can definitely say the pellets WORK for that!

Doesn’t keep cats from using area as litter box
Was used in riding arena to keep cars from using as litter box. They still used it and would usually go to the areas I put this on more heavily

Comments about dogs.
This works great in the garden. If you use it per directions. Dogs don’t eat the plant so they’re not tasting the spiciness of the systemic chemical in the leaves. The deer and the rabbits stay clear because they’re eating the plant. I can’t see that cats and dogs would be deterred by this but I do know I haven’t seen my hydrangeas for four years and now my yard is full.I did learn that you have to put a lot down for a larger bush since one scoop per bush wasn’t enough and the deer started eating it. When I added more a month later, lots more, the deer stay clear and so do the rabbits.I wish they sold it in bulk form to bring the price down.

Used to work.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT!This product used to work 3 years ago. Last year, it did not work at all.It has also doubled (or more) in price from just 2020. I used to purchase it for $18.11 for a 3 lb. jar. Now that same jar is $38!!! Ridiculous!!! Time to find something else.

Keeps the volves from eating my bark
Been using this to protect low growth evergreens over winter from rabbits/voles which were destroying the park on my evergreens. Works well.

The only product that’s actually worked!
I work in the plant business, so I have lots of ‘tests’ in my yard for the deer, who are willing to eat everything (even those plants that are labeled ‘deer resistant’). I initially did a test with some carex grass my dogs loved to eat, and they didn’t go near the plant I added this product to. Then I moved the hosta and pansies to the front yard. There was a tiny bit of nibbling the first night, but after that, nothing touched my plants for the rest of the season (and my neighbors lost everything they repeatedly put out!). I’ve been ordering this regularly for a year now - you have to remember to re-add it to perennials when the growing season starts - but it’s easy to use and definitely discourages the deer. Now if I could only find a way to prevent the squirrels from digging in my containers!!
