PX7 Ear Pads - TRANSTEK Replacement Ear Cushion Foam Compatible with Bowers & Wilkins Px7 Headphone I Not Compatible with PX7 S2 and PX8 (Protein Leather)

My original exploded after being put under the summer sun for a couple of days, so I purchased the "breathable mesh" version of this product as replacement. It works ok but occasionally you'll find it disconnect frequently, at first it was quite confusing before I realized it was this cushion that is a little bit too thick. If that happens to you, you have to adjust it a little bit and see if the sound will continue playing without disruption. This can get a little bit annoying sometimes.

Bought these to replace the original ear pads on my B&W PX7 headphones. They are thicker but they’re super comfortable and don’t seem to be falling apart as quickly as the original ear pads from the manufacturer. Price is half of what B&W wanted for more cheaply made original parts. Highly recommend these for both comfort and price point.

Got this for my B&W PX7 as the original earpads were worn out after almost close to 3 years of usage. And loving it. The foam cushion padding is the best in comfort, much better than the original padding, I have to say, and not only that, but it also enhances the sound from the headsets as it has a bigger space that fits very well over the ears.

Während die originale Fassung aus Kunstleder ist und dahinter Schaumstoff, was sehr warm hält, ist dieser zwar deutlich teurere Bezug, angenehmer zu tragen, luftiger zugleich. Der Sound ist aus meiner Erfahrung ziemlich gleich gut und damit hat man keine Einbußen. Die Montage war ohne Hilfsmittel machbar, einfach die alten Bezüge vorsichtig anheben und dies im Abstand von wenigen Zentimetern, nach und nach. Der Originalbeschlag hat bei mir etwas zwei Jahre gehalten.

Far superior to the B&W originals, more confortable and sit better. Hopefully, they will be longer-lived too as the B&W originals are very poor quality and only last approx a year before falling apart.
