The description says it's "free of all toxins," but doesn't specifically list ptfe. is this ptfe free?

No this pan is NOT ptfe free. This Vinchef pan is coated with GREBLON c3+ which is a highly efficient PTFE (Teflon) coating with ceramic reinforcement. It is applied in spray form and cured for 10 minutes at 400 C. It is however PFOA and APEO free. As far as the certificate of analysis, this is FDA food contact test and PTFE (Teflon) is FDA food grade compliant.

Is this also free of lead, mercury, cadmium and other metals deemed problematic for health?

Yes. This is a great pan-I use it almost every day for cooking. The important thing to remember when using a non-stick pan is NOT to use too high of heat. A temperature of 500 degrees F or higher will cause the nonstick coating to break down. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another pan like this one.

Can you use metal spatula, cooking utensils etc in pans?

Does anyone know the diameter of the bottom that contacts the stove?

There is a slightly raised silver circle on the bottom of the pan that doesn't go quite to the edge of the pan. It is 8". If you measure beyond that, to the actual edge of the pan, it is 9". The inside of the top of the pan is 11" but at the bottom it is only 9". It is 3" deep though so it can hold quite a bit.

pan quality amazing ( for now, lets see howmis it in 6 months ) but for now by far best pan what you can buy for this kind of money , i pay in offer 158 aed , thats a super nice price for this kind of quality !

I really like this pan. Be sure to "season" it as directed and it is truly nonstick. No oil or spray necessary once it's seasoned. It cooks evenly, seems durable but it already has a scratch on the bottom and I'm very careful to use wooden utensils so not really scratch resistant.
