Works great in helping to not under or especially over water plants. I have many indoor plants, and this is a simple efficient easy to use tool to see on the meter where your plant is as far as moisture. It's very easy to read and with correct care, not leaving it in soil and doing a quick wipe after use before storing, should last a long time. It seems accurate as well, and I use it often, and expect it to last.

It really helps to know if your plants need some water or none at all. It’s very reliable because I’ve followed its recommended water/no water gauge and my plants are thriving. First time ever!

I love it. I am not good at watering, I either over or under water. This prob tells you if your plant needs watering. So easy just put in your plant and it give you the dryness no more guessing. Easy to read numbers

Seems to work. But people say a wooden stick is more reliable. So you have to judge it yourself.
