Bonide Products 202 Fruit Tree Spray, 16-Ounce

I bought this to spray my apple trees to protect against insect and fungal damage. My trees are looking amazingly healthy this year - no leaf damage and plenty of fruit - so many the branches are bending over!! Lasts well too as you only need a little bit.

the sheer amount this costs in the UK in 2015 £18 and £6 for delivery, now 2022 and it will cost a huge £71 for the same amount. However im told it works and i read alot of comments regarding the 2 spray limit per year, thats because the fruit trees are hit 2 times a year 1st is spring thats the primary attack so treat as the trees wake up just before buds break, then the next is late summer so when the fruit flys and apple magott attack the trees in the uk its around 2nd week in august through to about 1st week of september and i do 2nd spray middle of the 1st week in august just before all the eggs are hatching and i now bag all my fruit i protective bags to prevent damage or maggotts getting onto my apples,pears and plums. so april 1st spray 2nd spray 1st week of august. and i always do a winter wash to keep the trees healthy in winter.

Perfect for me, I needed this for my fruit trees. It works well and is a nice tidy size. Securely packaged and quick delivery.

What's the saying "it does what is says on the tin"

It is far too early to review this product. One can only judge once the growing season is well underway for the roses and as for the apple trees - well the blossom has not even appeared yet. Ask again in the autumn.

Mix as per instructions and you will have an excellent bug spray. Works great on my apple tree.

This spray works as advertised. I've been using it for about four years now and it works great.

Just getting the measuring cup off of the cap was a chore I wasn't expecting and with no directions to help you that concern themselves with the cup you had better succeed since the product has to be very well shaken. And not even doing that will help. I tried over 2 different days and failed both. A thick film hardened over the solution giving the entire bottle the appearance of being completely solid. I had to break through the film before discovering it was liquid beneath. Not even shaking it for minutes helped. See the photo attached. I applied this to a tree at the required 1 TBS/gal rate in a brand-new tree sprayer and absolutely NOTHING came out on the tree. I carefully noted the level in the sprayer before and after and there was no change at all. Even up the rate to a dosing of 10 Tbs/ gal which may even harm the tree and NOTHING at all came out. This is simply too thick a solution to flow through a sprayer to work at all. I checked the sprayer in case that had a problem and it worked precisely as it should and at the proper flow rate. Have I been sold an expired bottle or is this just plain junk???
