Excellent Way to Display Medals
Very nice quality, I purchased two of the Medal 3D display frames, both in the oak finish with a black mount. For my father's medals I did mount them individual as per the supplied backing board (first picture). For my great-uncles First World War medals (second picture) I didn't want to take them off the medal bar, so using the supplied backing board as a template, I cut a new backing board from the packaging the medal frame was delivered in and marked on it where the three medal slots would be. Then using a suitably sized hole punch I made two holes so that the medal bar pin could be fastened behind the new backing board. I also had to cut another hole for the tab that locks the pin in place. Once everything fitted I remove the medals and used spray glue to stick on black felt. Once the glue had dried I then mounted the medals. Both medal display boxes look really good and I would say to Boldon Framing why not offer this as an alternative to mounting medals separately. Excellent quality product and happy to recommend.

Been wanting to display my grandpas medals for years, now I can
My Gran gave me my Grandpa's medals 40 years ago. I looked for a frame a few times but always found them to be too expensive or you had to send the medals and a picture away to a framer.This is a great value frame with plenty of options to match any room. Easy to line up neatly and looks great. I am very pleased, something I've meant to do for years and now the medals aren't stuck in a box in some drawer.

Great way to display medals
Found this a nice and simple way of displaying medals, and a picture. There is no real instruction on how to mount the medals, so I just ended up sellotaping them to the back of the display board. The 'glass' bit of the frame is plastic, and looks a little cheap up close, but it was protected well with an adhesive film which peels off. Once it was all mounted and in display, you couldn't really tell it wasn't glass. Over all, a good product for is purpose.

Perfect Memorial
Bit fiddly to fit medals and picture in. The ‘glass’ is plastic and does scratch easily so careful how you handle it and also it’s REALLY tightly fitted and took me ages to put back in place so leave well alone and don’t remove
