another Christmas gift for my 10 year old granddaughter, I put $100 bill in it and told her she had a half an hour to figure it out and if she couldn’t I was gonna keep it, she didn’t figure it out, and yes I gave it to her!

This is the gift that keeps on giving. I bought this last year and we all had a good laugh watching my teenage son try to open it. I packed it away with all of the other puzzle boxes - because I wrapped every single gift card I got him in some sort of puzzle box - and now I am going to reuse them for my nieces this year. It is well made and as long as no one gets mad and throws it, it will last forever.

Was very disappointed that the puzzle box would not work correctly. Even after going online and viewing the directions and the posted video, the product would not work. The reviews stated that this was an easy puzzle box and would work well for a young child. Indeed, the solution was very simple, but the box would not open for the adults who continuously tried it. The company phone number listed on the product was disconnected and could not be reached.

Terrible good fun for my 14 year old nephew's Christmas gift card. He's a bit spoiled and gets so much that he cant really pay attention to everything he opens. Just so happened that he opened this first and fiddled with it the entire time the rest of us were opening gifts. Tickled me cause he was using his phone for something besides texting his girlfried - he was trying to find a web site with opening instructions!"Are you really not going to tell me how to get into this thing?" he says. I told him if he hadn't figured out by the next family get together in March, I'd show him then.

We gave this to my nephew last Christmas with money in it and it was my favorite moment. Before Christmas I watched the video (on youtube, I found it under "monkey pod games magic money puzzle gift box") and practiced opening it and then on Christmas when he would get frustrated I would do it real quick and show him it can be done, then I would put it back together and watch him try to do it again. It was a great gift! After he finally figured it out, everyone else had fun trying to do it too!

This is not a puzzle! In order to open if you hit it on a hard surface to release a pin. I was expecting something more.

Gift card puzzles are more fun than just handing a gift card in an envelope. I bought different ones for kids & grandkids and once solved they all passed them around so everyone could try to open a different one.
