COSTWAY Exlarge Stainless Lockable Mailbox Post Letter Newspaper Box Wall Mounted

Really pleased with this purchase no more chewed Mail, now have one very disappointed dog. The letter box has been out in some really harsh weather and is not sheltered, the inside has stayed dry, it is also big enough for my magazine to be delivered, I’m glad I went for this letter box.

This item looks good but has several poor features, some of which are showstoppers. We left ours up for a week before replacing it with something much better.1. Its too small, despite the apparently generous proportions. A couple of unwanted travel magazines pretty much fill the box (the dimensions given are the maximum dimensions and it is smaller at the bottom)2. It's tough to fit with screw holes right behind a metal strut.3. The post flap is stiff and does not fall into place automatically. It's easily left open by post delivery people which means the post gets soaked when it rains.4. Even with the flap closed water gets in and the 4 drain holes don't really help because the post just sucks up the water.Definitely NOT recommended.

Lovely mailbox. We bought it to stop our young dog from eating the post coming through the letterbox.It is quite heavy duty and the paint seems to be a powder coated finish which should stand up well to the weather.My only slight criticism is that nothing was provided to put your name on the box. There is a clear plastic window and I managed with a bit of spate card, but a pre-cut piece with enough depth to hold it in place would be better.

Having recently bought a mail chewing dog with a taste for my postmen's fingers, I had to take drastic action. Having seen this postbox on Amazon with good reviews I decided to buy it. It was easily mounted to the wall outside the front door and is big enough to hold my Amazon book purchases plus it is solidly constructed & keeps the mail dry in all weathers. It does the job it was intended for.

thought at first it would be too big but when it was up on the wall it looked just right. postman is using it instead of usual letterbox so dog isnt getting it but i just wish it could automatically stop the junk mail as the postman and others seem to just ignore the notice i put on it..

The product is great no problem at all , and would buy again. The only problem my son had was that the screw holes at the top were in line with the box making it difficult to attach to wall. If they had been an inch lower there wouldn’t have been a problem. A lovely product looks stylish. a little peep hole to see if you have post. Very satisfied

Does the job however a little bit of redesign required as regards fixing to wall. The two upper drill holes are hidden by the bar below the letterbox opening. That means you cannot easily drill or screw in the screws with a decent sized screwdriver. What you need is a very short stubby screwdriver which is not easy if the screw is a tight fit,(which it should be.) The metal looks well but it is a little bit light. Not very robust.

This is a real sturdy mail box the slot is big enough to accomodate any size envolope .
