Exceeded expectation
I recently had the pleasure of trying out a Japanese pillow, and I must say, it has been a game-changer for my sleep quality. The first thing that struck me about the Japanese pillow was its unique design. Unlike traditional Western pillows, the Japanese pillow is typically smaller and firmer. This design encourages proper alignment of the spine and neck, which can help reduce neck and back pain. As someone who often woke up with a stiff neck, I was eager to see if this pillow would live up to its reputation. The pillow itself is made of high-quality materials, and you can feel the craftsmanship that went into its creation. The cover is soft and breathable, while the interior is filled with a supportive and comfortable material. I was initially concerned that the firmness might be uncomfortable, but it provided just the right amount of support without feeling too hard. One of the standout features of the Japanese pillow is its versatility. While it's perfect for sleeping, it can also be used as a support pillow while reading, watching TV, or even working on a laptop in bed. Its compact size makes it easy to store or travel with, and I found it to be a fantastic addition to my overall sleep routine. After using the Japanese pillow for several weeks, I can confidently say that my sleep quality has improved significantly. I no longer wake up with a sore neck or back, and I feel more rested and rejuvenated in the mornings. It's amazing how such a simple change, like switching to a Japanese pillow, can have such a profound impact on the quality of my sleep. In conclusion, if you're looking to upgrade your sleep experience, I highly recommend giving the Japanese pillow a try. Its unique design, quality materials, and versatility make it a worthwhile investment for anyone seeking a more comfortable and restful night's sleep. Say goodbye to sleepless nights and hello to sweet dreams with the Japanese pillow. It's a five-star addition to any bedroom. In conclusion, if you're looking to upgrade your sleep experience, I highly recommend giving the Japanese pillow a try. Its unique design, quality materials, and versatility make it a worthwhile investment for anyone seeking a more comfortable and restful night's sleep.

Oh my Neck is finally happy! No really this should be the happy neck pillow
So happy with this pillow I just have to write about it. A friend of mine suggested I look into a pillow like this mainly for my afternoon naps. Working from home means sometimes I just need a break, but getting into bed with a regular pillow usually leads to me dozing off. I just needed something simple – a pillow that’s firm enough to give my neck a good stretch but soft enough for a quick nap. I was reading about the igusa material. Then started researching it a bit. Turns out its soft, yet it provides the support I need to relax. :DSeriously so happy with this. Its sturdy, and it stretches my neck just right. My shoulders and neck are always tense from my computer. Ill use this for maybe 15 to 30 minutes and its like I'm brand new!I would take note, its certainly firmer. But that's what you need for a stretch. You can't do that with your standard pillow. I did some minor adjustments on the sides, and this fits the bill perfectly. If you’re looking for a natural-feeling, firm pillow for those moments when you need a quick nap or some neck relaxation, I’d definitely recommend giving this pillow a try.

I. Love. It.
I recently started having neck issues. I sleep like a log, and am lucky to manage 9 hours a night, but recently I started to get some weird crick in my neck when waking up. I tried a soft pillow, a firm pillow, no pillow, foam, feather, fluff...nothing worked. I told my sister, and she mentioned that on her trip to Japan they had completely different pillows, and so I decided to try this one out. It is FIRM! I had to position it just right under my neck, but once I did, it's sooo good. It now has my neck dent, and I don't have to figure out the position required when going to sleep. I am a natural stomach sleeper, but this helps me sleep on my back for most of the night.Overall, my neck feels so much better. I'd say 93% better, and that's good enough for me, especially in comparison to all of the other options I tried, and did not help me in the slightest and in some cases were worse. I'm happy with the purchase, especially with the size because now I can pack it up and take it with me pretty easily. I'm thinking of getting another just to have a duplicate...you never know.

Feels and smells wonderful (but I'm allergic)
Very nice firmness and emits a wonderful strong tatami smell. The packaging is very cute with a whole story about how tatami grass is cut and processed. It's also well made and it comes with its own little cloth bag for carrying too.Sadly, I'm allergic! It's not the company's fault and this product is perfect for what its supposed to be so 5 stars regardless. When I kept it in my bed for a few hours my eyes started itching, my nose clogged up and I started getting a headache. If you're allergic to grass or hay you might want to be careful, but otherwise I'd recommend this. I ended up giving it away as a gift.

Made my head numb; maybe need smaller size?
This is a beautiful, well-made neck pillow. Unfortunately, the return window has closed, so I can't return it, but here's what happened:I think his neck pillow is just too large or fully stuffed for my body. I've tried all the adjustments, but in every case, the pillow's edge goes beyond the top of my neck to my skull. That feels fine, but I every night I suddenly woke up to find that a large region in the back of my scalp was completely numb. I think the very hard stuffing pressing against the bones at the base of my sleeping skull (which is very heavy) is just too unyielding & presses against my nerves. Or something like that. But it can't be good to have even part of you head numbed like that.So now I own a beautiful & rather expensive neck pillow that I can't use. Too bad, because I do like it other than the blood-to-my-brain thing.
