The Three Little Witches Storybook (Early Reader)

Purchased this book for my 6 year old daughter who wanted a “proper reading book” that was more grown up than her phonic reading books she gets in school so based on the reviews I purchased this to try but was a bit worried she might be too young to read “normal” books yet.The book is beautifully illustrated which prevents each page from being over filled with text which can be off putting for young readers but also helps keep my daughters imagination alive whilst reading. The book is broken into 8 chapters, each 8-10 pages long, which is perfect as we use it as a bench mark to reach to keep the rest for reading another day.Although my daughter is confident at phonic books, this has been great to get her used to reading “normal” books and although she needs help with some unfamiliar words, it hasn’t been too difficult for her to attempt and has stretched her knowledge and vocabulary.I will definitely be purchasing more from this early reader range.

my granddaught age 3 loves this little book

My 3 1/2 year old daughter adores this book and we also bought the CD to listen to in the car so she can look at the book while it's being read aloud. For weeks she barely wanted to read anything else and can quote large passages of the book by heart. I have since bought this for others friends daughters and it has been met with the same enthusiasm - a great buy.

Delightful and imaginative little book which was an instant bedtime favourite with my 6 year old daughter. Nicely illustrated throughout and long enough to last over several evenings. Recommended purchase.

a good move into longer books for a 5yr old

By all accounts my granddaughter liked the book and as she is only in Primary 1 and not living close to hand I'm not sure how well she managed to read it.

Our younger granddaughter really loves this book, it is bcoming quite battered, time to purchase another copy!
