Used to swap between two different ADSL broadband connections - using CAT5e cable to each router.We found that the computer required a short (30sec) break in the connection or it did not recognize the router swapWhen using DHCP the computer has to release the old IP address and request a new one- if the swap is too fast the computer fails to detect the loss of a connection and doesn't request a new IP address.Fortunately the switch does allow for a middle position - where neither port is connectedPress the toggle button lightly and you can have both buttons raised - neither port connectedPress the toggle button firmly and the fully depressed button connects the indicated portUsed this way the switch works fine - but requires the user to implement a delay during the swap over

Arrived promptly. Crisp action on buttons, which allow you to toggle between 2 outputs. I purchased this unit to allow me to switch output between smart TV and smart YouView recorder. Very simple, and works well. I have now been using it for a few months without problem.

Took ages to arrive but very effective simple two way switch to switch internet from PC to Kofi box well worth money.
