Helpful for cold weather but not as durable as I would like
I just bought my third pair of "El Fito" tights. They are much more comfortable than the other options I have tried for Winter riding. I wear these as my only leg layer down to near 40 F. I have used these with a pair of non-chamois full length riding tights down to about 30 F with good results but someone more accustomed to cold weather may be able to use them at lower temperatures. When I use them for mountain biking I put on a pair of non-chamois baggies over the tights to protect them from trail hazards. The wool in the thigh portion keeps the upper legs warm enough. The lower section that covers the knees and upper calf area is thinner, mostly synthetic (20% wool according to the label) and it does not provide much insulation but it does help with protection from the wind. The chamois is all synthetic. It's OK, neither the best nor the worst chamois I have seen, but is a bit thinner and provides less cushion than most good chamois do.The description says "92%" wool but that is a bit misleading. According to the label on mine most of the fabric from the waist to just above the knee is 92% wool. The label says the fabric from there down is 20% wool. The panel that covers the chamois, the sacral area and the inner thighs feels like it is mostly synthetic but it is unclear what that fabric is made from. They appear to be well made, with no obvious manufacturing defects on any of the ones I have purchased, but they are less durable than I would like. One of the seams on my first pair started to come apart not long after I bought them, and Ibex replaced those. Both of the first two pairs I bought about 6-7 years ago eventually had to be repaired at more-or-less the same point along the seam that attaches the chamois to the tights. I am not sure how well the repairs will hold up. The pair I bought this year has a different chamois and it seems to be sewn in differently; I hope the change is an improvement. We have a relatively short winter around here so I probably only wear mine for 15-20 rides a year (not more than 10 rides each) which means that my first two required repair after about 50-60 rides (per pair). I think that tights this expensive should hold up better than these seem to, but I have not found anything better so far.

So good, I had to buy the shorts too.
I've been a long time Ibex fan but these were the first time I have tried any of their cycling products. After only a couple of rides in these, I had to order the shorts as well. I like how the wool breaths, but is warm at the same time. I like that these fit like typical cycling shorts do, but they don't seem as tight or Euro Trash as a proper kit.Throw on these, hop on your cyclocross bike, find a gravel road and you know you're having a good day.

The only problem I have is the right leg rides ...
The only problem I have is the right leg rides up on my knee. It was not a problem initially but after several dozen rides or so it started slipping. However, it is still a major improvement over the first version that I purchased direct from Ibex. I wear it 5 days a week on my commute to and from work.

Excellent quality!
i actually ordered these for myself but gave them to my husband. He loves them! Will be using them for a cycling trip in Northern Europe in April and it can get quite cool. These will be great under windstopper tights.

Husband loves these
Bicycling over 150 miles per week necessitated this purchase. My husband needed a smaller pair of these than he had been using. He loves these or would not want to replace with the same.

Excellent Biking Pants
These are incredible biking pants and you can't go wrong. Ok, they are a little expensive, but the comfort factor is worth every penny.
