Great quality and are very sturdy
My old trowel and fork definitely needed replacing so I thought I'd take a gamble on this set, as the reviews were very good, the price was good and they were from a tried and trusted name. I am very glad I did as they are of great quality and are very sturdy. I needed to refresh an old neglected rockery area and this involved lots of weeding and replanting. Did the job over the recent Bank Holiday weekend and the tools still look as good as new. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Live up to name
This set of 3 hand-gardening tools was purchased as a Christmas present and was exceedingly well received by the recipient. My own view of the tools is that they appear very well made and sturdy and packaged perfectly if bought as a gift ( a neat idea, Spear & Jackson ).

These are good and strong
These were a gift for my son who keeps saying I must get a trowel?Spear and Jackson are a good make and they appear to be very strong! and not at all flimsy Only my son can tell me when he uses them but I am confident that he won’t be disappointed!

You pay for the quality - well worth it
I have had numerous cheaper sets and they all bent and broke fairly quickly. However I used this multiple times and on very compacted soil and they have came through well, no bending or damage to report yet. These may be the set that lasts me more than 1 gardening season.

The right tools for the job.
After 20 years my old Spear and Jackson trowel had finally bent (in heavy clay soil). The new set is a perfect replacement - strong, comfortable to handle as well as good to look at. Exactly what I was looking for.
