Storage Design and Implementation in vSphere 6: A Technology Deep Dive (VMware Press Technology)

I bought this to gain a deeper understanding of storage with VMware. It blows my mind that this author was a medical professional that basically said “hmm I see computers in my field I think I will teach myself about them.” Fast forward a few years he’s getting industry certifications and working at VMware. It’s a tough read, but I am already seeing value. As I read through, some of the struggles I have with understanding VMware storage are explained in detail. I can reflect back to specific on the job experiences where having this knowledge prior, would have helped in the field.

Excellent book. Shipping was very fast.
