Straps are a bit small to go around the mattress

Worst purchase
The delivery was great and it is definitely right size for a double mattress. However the mattress would have to be extremely thin in depth to keep the elastic straps in place. Not suit for a standard mattress never mind a deeper one. Never good old Argos came to the rescue which is where I bought the previous one. Won't bother buying this again through Amazon. Not worth sending back so will donate to charity. Someone may find it useful. Sorry

Not fit for purpose
Mattress protector bought specifically as it has elastic at corners to hold it in place. The quality of protector is good but the elastic straps are not big enough to wrap around a decent sized mattress. Wasted my money 😫

Very poor Quality
Very poor Quality, should have expected with the price, as soon as I pulled it out the packaging could literally see every bit of light coming through the proctor, it's that thin and is never going to provide much protection, can't see this lasting more than a month.Laid it across the bed and came up really short in both width and lengthways.Definitely wouldn't recommend this item. Spend more and get better quality products.Will be sending back for a full refund including postage and packaging as item isn't quite as described or fit for purpose

Poor Quality
Poor quality. Thin and hardly "luxurious" on description. Ordered for a single bed and that is what came (despite order saying double). However, not wide enough even for single mattress, with bare sides. Put it on mattress, just looked at it, took it off and re-packed it for return. On top of that, seller deducts return postage from your refund - when something is not good quality, customer pays to return??? Don't waste your money.By way of update, after email to Amazon & review, seller has reimbursed return P&P. Thank you for that.
