RimmelMatch Perfection Foundation - 504 Deep Mocha

I previously used Rimmel Deep Mocha and did not have any problems. I liked it because of its creamy texture, and thought, though it was a downgrade from Mac foundation, it is pretty good quality for the price. When I finished the bottle, I decided to purchase a new one online. Unfortunately, when I used it, I started having headache; the left- and right-hand side of my temple were aching. Through an elimination process, I decided to stop using this bottle which I purchased online and only used my facial cream. I was fine. However, I went back to the previous bottle which I purchased from a renown supermarket to compare them and notice the label of this bottle sold on Amazon is different. There are irregularities which make me believe this product is fake. I have now bought another bottle from Boots and compared it again. I can conclude this product is definitely fake and I won’t purchase from this seller again. I do not know how they managed to get 5 000 reviews. I have got nothing to gain by writing this review, apart from my health which matters to me more than anything. I am not going into details to discuss the discrepancy between both labels, I made the right choice to stop using it.

Good colour match, as I bought this as a summer colour. Good slip, easy to blend and gives a natural finish. Lasts about 5hrs similar to a bb/cc cream. After 2 hrs, I found it had disappeared from nose & top lip and showed up my pores.Has a very slight smell. Smells like moisturiser. I have a slight reaction to it as in, I’m aware I’m wearing it for about 45 mins and experience a slight irritation on my cheek area. I think that is due to the perfume. The first time I used it the irritation was accompanied with slight swelling. Eventually I would get use to it, but being I experienced the above, it’s easier just not to wear it in future. I have dry/sensitive skin. I will not repurchase this again.

It does the job I guess but it hasn’t got that good of coverage.

Please Don’t buy from these sellers, don’t waste your money, The foundation is Fake & is soo watery!! Just go to Superdrug! Also the Returns label was so useless I would have, had to pay for the return myself and it cost the same price as I bought it, so I didn’t. Such a waste of my time and my money.

Always been worried about buying foundation for darker skin due fo shading but this one ia brilliant. Gives a good coverage and works as well as other top brands 4 x the cost. Perfect for day wear or work as light weight too.
