Fits elegantly : Won't be coming off my camera
This is a well designed L bracket for the ESO 6D markii. Well machined and fits elegantly.I didn't have to use the safety screws since my tripod base has a built in safety stud. For those who are unfamiliar, this replaces the tripod plate and is permanently screwed in to the base (Instead of the tripod plate) and provides both landscape and portrait orientations. (Google more on why you need an L bracket, it's one of the best accessories to buy). Also remember, this would only work on tripods that have a swiss arca plate. Custom heads cannot fit into the L bracket.Shashank

Does Exactly What it's Supposed to!
Fits perfectly, with access to all ports and battery compartment. Single piece of aluminum vs. Hinged units I've seen, so very sturdy. Threaded on longer section to attach my Black Rapid strap. Nice product and priced very nicely!

Would be great but the mounting screw does not fit
The bracket itself is built really well. Sturdy and strong but the mounting screw would not pass completely through the bracket. I will reach out to the supplier to get that resolved. I am confident that they will address that issue and look forward to using the bracket.

Perfect fit and a solid construction.
L brackets are overlooked essentials for landscape photography. Being able to switch from portrait to landscape orientation without having to get angry with your ballhead is super nice. The 6D Mark II also has the flip LCD which makes other universal L brackets get in the way, so a perfectly fitted L bracket is necessary. It’s a solid piece of aluminum that does its job well!

Fits Perfectly
The bracket was easy to install and fits perfectly on the Canon 6D Mark ii. Removal is also easy and just takes a couple twists of a flathead screwdriver. Highly recommended for the price.

It works great. I have a Canon 6D and it fit perfectly. It allows me to use my camera horizontally of vertically without changing the adjustment of my tripod. It also allows me to keep the mount screw for my shoulder harness attached and still be able to use it on my tripod.

Not designed for the 6d version 1 (only made for version 2)
I ordered this item thinking that I would give it a shot since the 6d mark i and 6d mark ii look very similar in shape. I tried this on my 6d version 1 and found out that it is not a tight enough fit. It had room for movement on the version 1. I ended up ordering one specific to the 6 mark 1 (some other place online) and will just have to wait till it arrives from china. I am sure it would have been a great fit if I had the newer 6d.
