We have two patios, one an interior with less wind and a large 19' x 80' with quite a bit of wind. We are originally beach people and hated the normal covered patio, much less how stifling it can be under one in the heat.Shade sails if installed right are to die for. First of all we got the permeable (water goes thru), then my husband used at least one chain and spring + hardware that came with.Our house dropped 10-15° one a really hot summer after he put there up on our patios. We live in Riverside, Ca. Calif is horrible for electric and water charges, so this helped us tremendously to not have to use AC except for a couple hours a day. We have no trees surrounding our home, can't afford to water in summer.These have been up solid two years, no tears, rips no problems. This filtered shade, I did get a little color sitting on my patio everyday, mind you a patio I couldn't use til I got these.I added some photos on a pretty good windy day.As you can see we used multiple colors too give the beach look, friends love it cause so different from normal patio.

Perfect! Exactly what we needed. Got the 13x13x13, in beige. Used eye bolts and metal clips (not included) to install. Convenient and easily removable for those nights when you want to enjoy the stars. Not string needed. We did measure before hand and fits perfectly. Weathering and fading not an issue, installed so easily can be taken down.

Got one to replace (different color) and liked it so much that we ended getting and installing another one.

We installed this spring of 2018 and received many compliments. It provided shade for our koi pond and kept large birds from seeing the fish. We took it down in late fall for the winter and reinstalled it late spring of this year. After a storm we noticed this tear. It's supposed to have a 5 year warranty and I emailed the company to see what they could do. Still waiting to hear back from them. It didn't even last a year.

*Update from my third purchase: I'm unhappy with the sail that was shipped to me. The sail looked used to me; it had wrinkles but not just from folding it looked like it was warped or pushed out/droopy in some areas. I reached out to the seller and got this response: "We didn't notice any quality problem from your photos The wrinkle on fabric is caused by folding , it is not quality problem .You just need to hang it for few days , wrinkle will disappear". First maybe empathize or try and make it sound like you somewhat care, we the customers are keeping you in business. Second, I tried hanging it out but lines still there and still droopy in some spots and now because I tried to hang it out for a week the return window is closed! The fact I paid for a NEW sail not a returned one that's used is disappointing. Rather than seller shut me down maybe try to rectify. This is not my first time buying though and I know from my previous two times buying sails they have come nicely packaged and crisp clean lines from folding. The sail I received this time around looked like someone used it and then tried to fold it back up horribly and return it. Also my two other sails still have their lines folded line in them but they are crisp lines and look good nothing what my third purchase looks like. *Used the canopy to cover my kids play area; I actually have two of these. I had bought my first one over a year ago and it still is holding up, however, within the first couple weeks the eye-rings did start to show rust. The canopy is still good though but the rope is not. It frayed and turned to dust after about a month or so when I tried to re-tie it after I saw the canopy starting to sag. I would recommended using some sailor rope/nautical rope instead. with that being said, I had bought another one a few months ago because the canopy durability has exceeded my expectations. I live in Florida and the canopy's have weathered sun and tropical storms and they are still holding up. I plan to buy another for our patio area.

We ordered the red 20'x20'x20' sun shade, and couldn't be more pleased. We have 4 kids under the age of 8, and I can't tell you what a life saver it is to have a little bit of shade in the pool. No one gets overexposed to the sun, no burns all summer long with only one application of sunscreen, and it doesn't cool the temperature in the pool. The material is not completely solid, so it lets filtered sunlight through, as well as rain, keeping it from getting weighed down. We have an 18' round pool, and it does a perfect job of allowing for a good ratio of shaded pool to full sun pool.Installation was easy enough, but I'd recommend having someone help out to hold it taught. The anchors it came with were more than adequate. As you can see from my picture, we have two ends tied to mature trees in the yard, and one end anchored to the back of our house. I used lengths of 550 instead of rope- inexpensive and strong. Since installing, we have had several severe storms with high winds and the sail has stayed in place! Color hasn't faded, and it's easy to clean with a hose (or a good rainstorm). Highly recommend, would purchase again.

I bought this sunshade to provide shade over an outdoor cat shelter I made in the back yard. It fit perfectly in the corner of the yard and I used alternative fasteners; some carbiners, heavy duty tent stakes and rope. It works pretty good, seems to have stretched a little after getting rained on a couple of times and I had to readjust the stakes. No biggie.The only problem I had was I barely touched the material when mowing grass last week and immediately burned a small hole (about 3" long) in the sunshade. Most people will not have this problem as my shade is only 12" off the ground on the front side, but I was surprised how quickly it made a hole, it was no more than an instant.Anyway, I have since ordered a second shade to add to the area or make a different shaded area for some stray community cats. Love the design options and all the cool colors!
