Cross Jumbo Medium Ballpoint Refill for Selectip Pens - Blue

There are cheap Cross compatible refill out there that makes one branded refill look expensive, but this Cross branded refill is worth getting. It is a like for like replacement for the spent original ballpoint and it fits the pen perfectly. The blue medium is a lovely refill and works perfectly upon first contact with paper. The blue is lovely and is a lighter shade than perhaps a navy blue. The rollerball itself gives a very fluid writing action with provides a good flow with even a light touch. The other thing about this refill is the fact that it is archival ink, which means that it is designed to resist fading over time. For someone who uses the ink to write songs and manuscripts in early form, I want the ink to last once it is on the page for any number of reasons. Having purchased cheap refills in the past and knowing that some of them last very short spans of time, I trust that this refill will last me a good while. I will report back if my thoughts about this refill change or anything unexpected happens.

Works OK but must be slightly different as sticks inside the pen

My Cross pen is working again but I can't say for how long - obviously. Annoyingly despite my Prime membership I had to pay delivery charge.

Genuine Cross refill at a good price and fast delivery. Can't ask for more.

Excellent product

Not as smooth as the gel roller and the ink could be darker but they both have flaws. The gel roller do not write on all surfaces I.E brown envelope, cardboard which is why I changed to the ball point refill.

Did a good job of converting my Cross pen from rollerball to ballpoint, which I prefer.

Wanted some black ink for my pens, works very well. Smooth to write with and doesn't bleed, leak or stop writing intermittently.
