The walking belt would stop with every heavier step , and make a little squeak once in awhile. I tried lubing the deck, tightening the walking belt almost all the way, and tightening the motor belt (the part this replaced) as tight as I could. Nothing helped. Then I noticed there were little black piles of dust around this drive belt from wear, and I decided to give this last thing a try.I installed it, tightened it to a reasonable level I could push the motor with my feet to achieve, and the slipping completely stopped. At first I had to tighten the walking belt just a as little more, but I got that right. Before replacing this, there was no adjustment that would help.I think this treadmill is at least 8 years old, and I think this part just got a bit brittle.I’m very happy with this. $25 to save hundreds and a huge piece of trash. Good risk to take, and it paid off for me. Good luck!

Works great stopped the walking belt from slipping. Treadmill runs just like it did when it was new.
