Great learning universal remote!
This is a great remote for clearing the clutter of multiple remotes from your table. I purchased this to operate a TV, Blu-ray player and cable box and was able to program all three devices using the access codes and was then able to custom program a few of the buttons for my favorite settings. Works great for my purposes, I've tried the remotes sold at local Home Depot and Walmart stores and found them lacking in features compared to this one.The other thing I really like about this remote is that it has track forward and track back buttons to make it easy to jump to the next chapter on DVDs and movies. I actually purchased a second one of these because I like the first one so much!

Great Remote for TV, DVR, DVD, and Audio Bar
I found this remote works well and offers all the buttons to control your devices if you have a Verizion or Comcast DVR. My only complaint is the buttons a little small and hard to see.

Fantastic control layout for DVRs and Program Guides
Perfect for using a cable DVR, where you want navigation arrows and page up/down right next to each other, plus A B C D and Exit very close by. I looked at many options: Logitech Harmony (650 / 350) page up/down and Exit are fairly close to the navigation area, but looked too far away for me. Inteset, Philips, Sony, GE, and "Made for Roku" are missing page up/down, AUDIOVOX is missing ABCD, and RCA is missing just about everything. The good:- Near-perfect button layout for a cable DVR user. It even has the PiP buttons.- Quick and easy setup using 3-digit codes- Complete customization via the learning feature (point your old remote at it)- Plenty of keys to re-purpose to fit your needs- Don't have to plug it into a computer to set it upThe bad:- The device buttons along the top are in a bad order (Aux / DVD / Aud / TV / STB)- No macros (except for power button, which can be customized to power the devices you choose)- Not "smart" like the Harmony, but I view this as a feature, not a bug- On Demand button has a sticker instead of text on button itself. Weird.- I would have liked buttons for Subtitles, Audio, and Zoom (for DVDs) instead of "Macros"Setup was quick and painless using 3-digit codes, which worked for all my devices: Scientific Atlanta DVR cable box, Samsung TV, Samsung Blu-Ray player, and even my VERY old Sony DVD/VCR Combo unit I still have hooked up for some reason. You can customize the buttons with the learning feature by pointing your existing remote at it and capturing any button to any button. This is a must-have for me, since code pages only get you so far. I also wasn't too keen on the Harmony approach of customizing the remote by plugging it into your computer; I prefer my remote be self-contained.The instructions describe a macro feature, but it turns out that the "macros" are just customizable favorite channel groups. For example, you could program the "M1" button to cycle between a handful of sports channels, "M2" to cycle between a handful of news channels, etc.. This is a throw-back to pre-DVR days, I guess. If you google "UR5L-9000L" you can find a pdf of the instruction manual on the manufacturer's website to see all the features.Back lighting lights up all keys if you hit the light button. This is an IR remote, meaning it won't work through walls. It's fairly large and heavy compared to my actual cable remote, but not so much as to be unwieldy. The weight distribution is pretty good, and the back has deep and wide grooves such that it's comfortable to hold it high, low, or in-between. (High for navigation, low for channel numbers, in between for play/pause/ffwd/rewind.)Having just received this remote (Aug 2017), I couldn't be happier with it. I'll come back and update this review after having used it for a while if anything goes wrong, like the buttons wear out or stop responding.EDIT: Just changed the batteries for the first time on Dec 7th, exactly 15 weeks after first use. Those first batteries were the ones I used to do all the learning, and they weren't really low but I happened to be switching all my batteries to rechargeables. Figure at least 3-4 months between batteries. Having used this remote for months, I love it to death. Can't imagine going back to the regular cable remote.

Neither, of two ordered, worked
One of the remotes was able to program initially, but after only 1/2 hour the buttons would not respond. The second remote was never able to program at all.

Do not recommend for internet media boxes
Delivery took over a month and I can program old buttons using single button programming
