So much better than Radio Flyer
We had a Radio Flyer trike for my older daughter, and the gears in the pedals got sheared down to nubs after 2 years of light use. The replacement part was half as much as the trike cost (no warranty coverage by then). We decided to go with a different brand this time around. Enter the Smartrike.Pros:-Folds down for easy transport. This is fairly easy to do, and takes up very little space.-Comfy padding and safety belts for kids.-So many configuration options.-Cup holder for the adult.-Nice handling.Cons:-Adult pushing handle is pretty low.-Wheels don't seem too high-end.-The configuration with the leg (thigh) rests for younger babies didn't work very well, probably because our daughter ous so squirmy. We took them off and her feet almost reach the pegs, but not quite.-More expensive than Radio Flyer.I hope the pedal gears hold up well in this one, because it really is an almost perfect product.

14 month old loves it!
My 14 months old loves this! She’s small for her age (17 lbs) and she seems very comfy on the seat with tons of room to grow. It’s handles well and is very stable even in rocks and cobblestone. It also folds very small and fits great in the back of my cramped small SUVCons:-storage basket is VERY small-wish it had a parents and a child’s cup holder-handle is shorter than almost stroller handles, but not so short that I have to slouch, just wish it were taller-there were a few sharp spots on the metal that I had to file down, but not a big deal-while it does fold nice and small, it is kind of a pain to fold/unfold and I’ve never been able to get it back in the bag properly (I’ve given up on the bag and just fold it up and put it back in the trunk)Even with all the cons this is the best one I’ve used and would definitely buy again!

An amazing baby to toddler tricycle
This smart trike tricycle has the best value for money, both my baby and my 2.5 years boy can enjoy them. They are colorful, stable and easy to run - my toddler who never used a tricycle fell in love with them immediately. They have a parent handle with adjustable height and a small storage in the back to take all that is needed for an afternoon walk. I use it often instead of a stroller, and when we get home they fold and practically don't take up any space. Highly recommended.

... bike for my 16 month old and we absolutely love it! There was barely any assembly
Ordered this bike for my 16 month old and we absolutely love it! There was barely any assembly, it came folded in a bag and all I had to do was click on wheels! My son loves to sit in it and also loves that he is able to push it because the handlebar is adjustable and he can reach it if it’s on the lowest level. We are so happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something practical, convenient and durable.

Had to watch YouTube videos to figure out how to switch from child to parent control and whenever I take her out in it the handle keeps pushing itself down(yes I have to locks on to keep it in place) Assembling and disassembling is not as easy as they make it appear
My daughter loves it! My only issues were the steering and the push handle. Had to watch YouTube videos to figure out how to switch from child to parent control and whenever I take her out in it the handle keeps pushing itself down(yes I have to locks on to keep it in place) Assembling and disassembling is not as easy as they make it appear. It's really hard to get it folded down and back in the bag it came with.

Adult handle creates backpain
I have been using this bike for my kid for two months now and I can officially say that it's not value for money. My kid is 14 months and I need to control the bike using handle. However handle keeps going down no matter how little weight I put on it. It takes mere seconds before it goes down and I have start to experience back pain because of it staying so low.Other minor fault is with shadow cover as it hardly provides any shadow for the kid. Bike also seems very fragile.

the tires are only good enough for smooth and flat surfaces without creating lots ...
The steering is controlled by the child, the push handle doesn’t stay locked, the turning requires one to lift the front wheel, the tires are only good enough for smooth and flat surfaces without creating lots of excess friction. The bag in the back is too small. The seatbelt buckle is 2 step and annoying. The sun visor is small.
