Installed a week ago. install was super easy, but I just did two screen replacements a week prior on the same phone... Yes, you read that right. Two screen replacements, same phone, same week... My wife says it seems to take a little longer to charge but the battery is bigger too... Be careful with all of the wires and watch the video online first, then follow along with the video while you do it... Pausing as you work! Don't be that guy or girl that is in a rush, you'll embarrass yourselfAlso, after you replace it the phone isn't "Water Resistant" anymore. Around the glass water can get in so I recommend a life proof or otterbox case.

I've personally bought 2 of these batteries, and had my mother-in-law buy one for my brother-in-law that I also installed in his phone. The tools that come with them are decent. Not great, but usable. The batteries fit great. After install, we all followed the charging and discharging instructions that come with the batteries. For the first week or two, they seem like a super battery, insane life. After that, they settle in to having very good battery life. I've had this battery in my 6s for about two months. I use my phone quite a bit, often in areas with weak service. I usually end days on around 30-40%. No complaints here.one tip; go to youtube and find a good, detailed instructional video. The install is not hard, but I couldn't have figured it out without following a video.

Instructions were lame, the tools that it came with were cheap. Luckily, I YouTubed the installation beforehand. I've repaired watches and clocks before, so I'm not foreign to small screws and parts, and having to be careful of fragile components. This installation was no big deal. The battery connector would not "click" into place like it should, however. I even took the old battery, after many tries with the new one, and it clicked right back into place. I installed the battery plate anyway, with the new battery, and my phone powered up just fine. I thought it might be okay anyway, although the connector didn't snap into place like it should. I put it on the charger, and it wouldn't charge past 38%, even after four hours. When I shut the phone off, and powered it back up, it was only at 1%, until I cycled power again. Then it wouldn't charge past 38% again. I still want to do this repair myself, because I don't want to buy a new phone, like Apple had planned. I'm going to try a different brand of battery this time. This kit was a total waste of my time, and nerves.

Wow... wife has been bugging me about her iPhone 6 battery. I got her a 128GB a couple of years ago and she didn't want to get rid of it. So I personally swapped the battery out of her phone with this thing and she thanks me every single day for doing it. You can do this. It takes a steady hand and some patience, that is all. Just be gentle and it will be just fine. My wife's phone went from lasting about 2 hours on a full charge to 2 days on a charge and she crushes the thing with instagram videos and blogs or whatever you women do on social media. This kit is legit and the battery life is OUTSTANDING! Why have apple do it for $25 when you can do it yourself on your time in your home for a very similar price?

Excellent battery kit, easy to understand and use, battery works great BUT l: the. capacity is NOT 2200mAH! The capacity is the same as the original Apple battery. Does it work well as a battery? Yes. Is the description completely honest and accurate? No.
