Wiper Arm Removal Tool

Limited usefulness outside removing windscreen wipers, but it's perfect for that job

to replace the worn linkages, if the wipers can be moved back and forth by hand and you can hear the wiper motor working it probably means the connections on the linkages have broken off due to wear. Obtain a wiper puller to remove off splines I would suggest.

Got this as could not get my wiper arm off. Its worked ok. Not easy to turn the handle once its tight, So had to put a towel over it to get better grip. The wiper arm came off easy and could not have done it with out this cheap tool.

Wasn't wide enough to accommodate the wipers on a 2006 Golf which I'd assume is a fairly common car and probably shares wiper design with every other VW, Audi, Skoda, SEAT, on the planet. i.e. a lot of cars! So didn't sit straight on the pivot. Kept slipping sideways. Plastic knob on top kept unscrewing, couldn't get any power into it had to use pliers on the top in the end. Product bent and twisted and ended up in the bin. Ended up removing the wipers by gentle tapping the pivot with a hammer whilst pulling on a strap wrapped under the arm. Wish I'd thought out that first, would have saved the money and emotional pain. Don't waste your money. Not fit for purpose. One star is too kind, but I had to give some rating.

Original wiper had been on some 12 years and using every method I could think of I could not budge it. This tool released it straight away.
