Bang for the buck $$$$$$
You can see and feel the quality of these boots. They are a little hard under foot but you can change the insoles if you want. Very quick break in for me but comfortable out of the box. Jim Green offers a high quality product for a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this product.

Very high quality
Great quality especially for the price. Having wider feet they fit almost perfectly out of the box. Also I had to contact their customer service and they were the best. They responded quickly and helped me fully. I will continue to buy from JG and recommend them.

Well Built, Sole Could Be Better
These are great boots although the price has increased since they were launched so they're not as great a deal as they once were. The soles are really crude with a hand painted yellow spot made to resemble Vibram which they definitely are not.

High quality, excellent service
Amazing product. Google their name and watch any YouTuber talk about these boots. Granted, you have to be from America to get the benefits, but these are seriously great shoes. They're wide in the toe box so if you're looking for a steel toe for work, these are literally so good for your feet over time. They're also very comfortable and are made of high quality material. The brass eyelets for lacing is so well made and sturdy, these are resolable so your wear per purchase is very high.My only alteration is a decent pair of insoles like Super feet or something because the in package insole is more of a place holder, and you may want to swap the laces, but I like the style. But for the price- you're paying $100+ more for something similar in the Americas. And my experience with the customer service is always great. These guys rock and I will always recommend them. If you're new to laboring or know someone who is, buy them these. They won't be disappointed.

Not for finished floors
It only took a few days to break in, and the most uncomfortable part for me was the padded tongue putting too much pressure on the top of my foot and I think pushing on a nerve. leading to pins and needles and numbness. I just tied them a little looser on the bottom two speedhooks and was OK until everything softened up.The toebox is nice and wide which I really appreciate. Since I wear barefoot shoes when I am not wearing boots, having to cram my toes into standard workboots when I do wear them is very uncomfortable. My main complaint is the comfort of the shoe bed/sole. I work both outside on dirt and on concrete floors depending on the job, and these boots are rock hard underfoot. Even on soil, by the end of the day my feet are screaming. I think it may be the hardness of the rubber sole primarily. The tread of the sole also seems to grab every piece of gravel that will fit and not let go. So when I do walk onto a flat floor from outside, I can feel every pebble stuck between treads, and risk scratching a finished floor. Not waterproof, but as the description says, water resistant. I thought with the fully gusseted tongue they were waterproof but stepping through puddles, water came in I think around the welt.I cannot recommend for construction work.
