Works really well but filter needs cleaning quite often
I replaced a smaller no-name filter with this one and the difference is night and day! All summer we've not needed to empty our pool once because it went green, as we used to before. I've got this set on a timer socket to come on between 1pm - 7pm, and that works wonders at keeping the water clear, (along with some chlorine tablets). I would recommend this. Our pool is an Intex 3m x 2m x 1m

Neatly complements out little patio jacuzzi
I’m still full of praise about our little 6 feet Intex round pool. Even tough I had to repair some punctures since we bought it only a year ago, it is such a joy to take a quick dip and have a beer in it during a sweltering inner city day. Strangely enough our children can spend hours in it as well. Now, one of the issues is that it takes well over an hour to fill and that you’ll have to replace the water after just a few days. For that reason I’m already using some chemicals. Though I was considering this Intex filter pump as well given the intensity of use. Also because it will be of use when we buy a larger pool at some stage or bring it to our second home abroad.Even though it is not listed to work for the 6 feet Intex round pool, based on the responses to answers I figured it would work. And it does - it fits perfectly to the in- and outlets with the water neatly being filtered (I put it on for a couple fo hours per day, not constantly, given the size of the pool). The installation requires some studying of the manual, which is a little time consuming and of medium complexity. But I got it set up in about 20 minutes. The pump looks sturdy and durable. The only thing is that you are advised to replace the filter every two weeks. But I assume this is after constant use, so I’ll just put in a new filter every season, barring lengthy heatwaves. The pump is not too sizeable, even though it arrives in a large box. Yet storage can be an issue considering the set of two lengthy thick tubes that are included.Very pleased with this one so far, highly recommendable.

Cleans the pool
Does the job, but the filters don’t last long and are quiet expensive to replace.

Brilliant
I bought a slighty cheaper pump first and the tubes were poor quality, too short and the pump leaked. I returned it and got this one. Night and day different. The tubes are much better quality and twice as long. The pump seems to kuck out a powerful jet if water too.

Prompt Service but defective product
The media could not be loaded. I brought this product for an Intex 8ft easyset pool. The delivery was prompt, got here before it was meant too. The instructions made installation very easy. However, the pump only ran for about 30minutes before shutting down. I thought it was a fuse first, checked and no issues, then thought it was due to a faulty extension lead which I replaced, but the fault continued. Regardless of morning, day or night it kept shutting down. Sometimes it would last longer if I left the pump off for a longer period, but ultimately would switch off. I noticed the base of the pump would get very warm, boarder line hot when it shut down and deduced that it was the motor that was overheating and shutting down. The pump also seems to get noisier, but I’m not sure if this normal (see video). I had to try to raise the pump off the ground to try and get some airflow under the pump but made little difference. Over the three days I have had it, it slowly started to loose performance, with noticeably less pressure on day three. I checked and clean the filter which didn’t seem that dirty and had a quick visual inspection of the housing and pump and couldn’t see any blockages/faults. Cleaning the filter seemed to improve the pumps operating pressure but still kept on shutting down assumed to be from overheating. I hope this was just a faulty product and nothing to do with the seller. I have contacted the seller and hope I can simply get a replacement pump.

Seems to work!
I wasn’t sure whether to get a filter and pump or not for my 3 by 2 meter Intex Pool but I’m glad I did. It seems to work really well - and I feel confident in knowing that chemicals are being circulated. No indication anywhere as to how long to have the filter on for but worked it out and 2 hours seems sufficient. If you want to do things properly I wouldn’t skimp on getting a pump and filter.

Hit & miss works ok but not powerful
Images show plenty of power with bubbles in flow but mine has just enough power to suck the water in steady flower back into the pool but not as good as pervious customer reviews and videos Iv seen. Tried all the tricks to create the bubbles as you see on YouTube but we are unsuccessful with this. A lot of money for the results we have got but it’s doing a job.
