Heritage Camp Foot Stool

I'm in a single-wide trailer, and there's almost no room for anything. The lady sits in an office chair at the computer, most of the time. I sit on a beat-up old couch. I needed any kind of way to put my feet up, but it couldn't take up any room when not in use. And I found this!A coffee table generally is about 15" to 15-1/2 inches tall. I wanted to also have the option of using this for maybe a book or something if I laid out on the couch. Plus, I wanted something pretty sturdy, and looking at the construction and weight capacity, this fit the bill.Unlike folding camp canvas chairs, this folds up completely. All four corners come together, so the final width is only 5 inches (squarish diameter). Excellent! The total length of the feet is 21-1/2 inches. When it's opened up, the soft canvas, where you'd put your feet is 15-inches from the floor. The useful surface is 18 inches wide (it opens to a square). As a bonus, I can prop my foot on one of the corners, and it acts like a foot massager, pressing into the arch for relaxing.There's a little bitty space on the floor between one padded chair, a make-do end table, and the end of the couch. This folds up in seconds, and slides into that "cranny" on the floor. Presto! No clutter when not in use!It's nice and sturdy, but similar to a hammock. If you have only one foot propped on a top corner, it'll tip over. But it totally supports one foot when you use it correctly. And it's low enough you can easily swing the other foot up if you want. Sitting on it, it's pretty hard to tip it at all. But you can't have a fat butt! The corners are solid metal, and the canvas has a normal dip, so unless you fit on that canvass, well.....think proctology exam.I really enjoy having this. Nowadays, it's so rare to find something that "has one job to do," and does it perfectly! Yes, you can also use this as a fishing stool or other outdoor portable stool, so you only have to think about how to carry it. No, it does not come with a carrying case. No, it does not come with a strap. But it only weighs 3 lbs, 8-1/2 oz (I weighed it), so pretty easy to carry around.

It's really saggy - not taut like in the picture. You're basically resting your feet in a hammock.

This was the only collapsible camp footstool I could find that was the right height. Loved that! I took off one star because it doesn’t lock into place.

Theses are perfect for camping or out by the river/ocean. We use them as foot rest or small table. The only thing they do not come in a travel bag that would of been nice but for the price these are a great buy. Definitely love this item.
