Deathwatch: The Omnibus (Warhammer 40,000)

Great stories and variety of authors. They all have different styles but none are bad. Highly recommend

Really good follow up book for 'Deathwatch' . The space marines have enjoyable personalities not just a squad of killing machines ( thou I enjoy those too.) I'm new to the warhammer 40k books so I'm no expert. As a vet it was good.

Great collection of different Deathwatch tales. Battles against all kinds of xenos. Stories short and long of the fabled Deathwatch.

Second journey into the 40k universe and it was fairly solid. i enjoyed the first couple of novels included in the omnibus but found the last one hard to get through. The short stories were hit and miss, that i feel were more about how easily was able to slide into the writers style then whether or not the story or write was 'good.' Deathwatch are pretty badass. Gives you some insights into inquisition which was great for a new guy like me. Deathwatch: Kryptman's war was probably the highlight for me, as well as the strong finish with the infinite tableau - short.

Was waiting for the collected works to come out for deathwatch. Hope they continue to do omnibuses.

Like all compilations, the quality and pacing of each of the stories varies considerably. Overall, the stories are good, some better than others. But all have merit and are created by excellent authors, all of whom I regularly purchase works from.I would recommend this compilation to anyone as it gives the reader the opportunity to read several authors and find those whos work they enjoy best.

A great read, and one of my favorite 40k books. The dynamic between the kill team is a wonder to watch in action, as they face their foes, and sometimes each other! A very insightful look into the Deathwatch.

Great book. I've read part of the book from other Warhammer 40k novels as well but the addition of the short stories is great.

A great read, so many great stories by so many great writers. I do enjoy the Deathwatch novels, coming across known species and new characters, and sometimes new xenos I'd never even heard of. Well worth reading.
