Excellent Bilge Pump
Very strong pump. Moves a lot of water in a short time. Well made, and pretty quiet for its strength. Recommended!

Submersible Boat Bilge Pump 12v 2000GPH - Easy hook up, pumps out a lot fast, well built.
I easily hooked this up to my 12V system on my boat as well as a separate float switch and it works great. The pump itself is well built and it pumps out a lot of water fast. It's fairly quiet for the size motor it has, but it stays in the bilge so you can barely hear it when the hatch is closed. As it says in the description, this is non-automatic. So if you'll be using this in your bilge I suggest hooking up a float switch so that it automatically turns on when the water level rises. Also make sure to use waterproof electrical connectors and some heat shrink for added protection. I found taking care of things makes them last longer, so although the bottom built in grate will probably suffice, I also used a nylon net over it so that it doesn't get clogged by any large debris. Overall very happy with the quality and functionality of this pump!

Make sure you have the right hose and a switch if needed!
I used this thing for a big job, putting it to the test on my pool! I wouldn't say it's 2000gph though, quite a bit less and this was running it on a car sized RV battery. However, for the common use of keeping your boat afloat, it will be more than sufficient! It was easy to hook up, I ended up using MC4 waterproof connectors since the leads were a little short for my use and that worked very well. Overall quite pleased with this little pump, and I may use it with my Kayak sometime with a little 12v 9ah battery.
