Does the Job
Bought this as a replacement for our Swann CCTV system. The original PSUs were rubbish, both dying within 18 months of purchase. We purchased the damned thing from Maplin - so no joy there. 'Official' replacements were horrendously expensive. There's damn all in these PSUs, nothing that costs over a £1 to make so why are the 'official' replacements so expensive? So we took a chance on this GLming product. It works fine, no problems & We're happy with that. Don't know what the life span of the product is but can't see it being worse than the original ones supplied.

Nosey neighbour looking after our houses
Such a big difference from the standard 1A plug I had originally with my cctv, this new 2A is powering the same 4 cameras & 2 microphones with NO stress or causing the sounds to clip & wavey lines across the screen like the old 1A unit did. It now has the perfect clear sharp image & smooth sound as it should be.I was going to replace my whole set up but gave this power unit a go first after doing some researchDEFINITELY THE RIGHT CHOICE & just in time as it caught a motorbike theft that night in perfect images. I hope my cctv will help get my neighbours bike back as he thinks he recognised the thief... without this up grade to a better power unit it would of been a bad image. My unit is a SENTIENT from maplins a few years ago.

Good AC to DC adaptor
Exactly what I expected. Bought two. 1 was replacement for power supply to external drive and specs exactly the same.
