Good Batteries
I used to get my re-chargeable batteries from a well known supermarket (that sounds like ASBO) for about ยฃ7 for a card of 4. They recently (and this is true of many of their other bargains also) stopped selling them. Now, the cheapest you can get batteries there, is about ยฃ15 for 4.. A little digging around on the interlie and I found these. "What?" recommended and they won't discharge when not being used. Sounded ideal for carrying spares in my rucksack. And how much do you think I paid for these? ยฃ12, ยฃ10 or like ASBO, ยฃ7? No. ยฃ4.15! And FREE postage! I have been using these for a month or two now, with no noticeable problems. They seem, in fact, to be in every way at least equal to the batteries I've been paying DOUBLE money for (and am now expected to pay FOUR TIMES the amount for)! This is at least, confirmation that our supermarkets rip us off big time. And for the sake of a little research we can find equal or superior products elsewhere. I will be buying a LOT more of these. AA and AAA. I have torches, clocks, games consoles and a ton of other stuff needs powering up, and for this money it's a lot more affordable.

Perfect for cordless phones
Just right for replacing our cordless phone batteries which were no longer holding their charge causing the phone to cut out after 15-20 mins. Very good price and quick delivery. Too early to say how long they will last so reluctant to give 5 star rating at this stage.

Always Reliable
The Recyko+ range from GP are great rechargeable batteries. They may not be the highest capacity rechargeables on the market but they always seem to outlast any other battery I've tried. They hold their charge for ages compared to many other rechargeables so perfect for occasional use equipment. I also own the GP quick charger which can charge 2 batteries in 15 minutes which is handy but is a little noisy due to the fan.

Good at first
Bought these for my BT phone after reading reviews. Worked very well for 9 months but now seem to be loosing their charge after only a short time, so think I'll have to buy a different brand and hope they work for longer.

and this was recommended. If these are good ones
Very disappointing. I even joined Which? to get insight into the most efficient rechargeable batteries, and this was recommended. If these are good ones, I hate to think what rubbish ones are like! Fully charged they have enough energy to keep a Christmas tree light lit for about 15 minutes, i.e. b*gger all! It's back to good old disposable duracell for me, though goodness knows in this day and age there should be rechargeable AAs that do the biz.

'Proper' rechargeables
I only buy rechargeable batteries these days but there seem to be 2 types around at the moment, the ones which only hold their charge for a relatively short while and therefore are not much use in remote controls, radios etc,, and the ones which hold their charge much longer and can be stored ready for immediate use. It is sometimes difficult to tell which is which, except that the ones which hold the charge longer generally have a slightly lower output and are more expensive. As far as I can tell these Recykos appear to be this type and are working well so far, they came charged up which is another indication that they are 'proper' rechargeables. I normally go for Sanyo Eneloop batteries but have given these a go in view of their much lower price and 'Which' Best Buy rating.

Not as good as 'old style' standard Recyco AAA rechargeables
Just had my 3rd one,(out of 8 purchased), die after 3 or 4 recharges---this time used in a wireless mouse I have never had this kind of unreliability from many previous purchases of recyco batteries or Energiser,( still have 4 yr old Energisers, and old style Recycos going strong). They also do not seem to have the capacity of other brands either. Time to change brand for me

Great batteries, great price
Like several other reviewers I bought these on the strength of the Which? magazine best buy award. I use them in my phone and they hold their charge very well and don't need charging as often as previous batteries I've used, and at ยฃ4.15 on Amazon, as someone else said, they're virtually a steal. I certainly wouldn't pay the ยฃ10.99 Boots are charging for them though.
