Installation went off without a hitch, and the quality is excellent. I went on a 9+ hour drive during early spring, encountered moderate rate driving at 70mph. The bag didn't shift one inch, and everything inside stayed dry, including clothing in a cloth bag. The bag didn't make any noise at all, but the straps do flop around if you don't secure them properly. I did stop once to adjust the straps. One thing of note. Do NOT tuck the straps into your cabin, as they will act as leads and bring water in. Tuck them either under the bag or under the flaps and secure with the velcro strips. It was overall a very positive experience for what it is. Would 100% buy again!

The bag works great, is super durable with high quality material, and a large capacity. It fit our stroller, pack n’ play, and two beach tents (plus more) for a recent beach trip. It already feels secure with the provided straps but I used one ratchet strap for extra security.

This was easy to install, and while it obviously isn't going to have all the same features as a hardshell carrier, it is extremely durable and waterproof. We used this to drive from Indianapolis to Williamsburg, Va in what was a driving rain for nearly 4 hours, and none of that water ended up inside the bag. It still looked new when we got there as well. It was easy to fold back up and put in the storage bag when we didn't need it. I am sure it won't last as long as a hard shell, but I wouldn't expect it to at this price point. All around, I would say it is a great deal for the high quality of the product!

Fits perfectly on my 2010 Cadillac Escalade. We just used it on a 2000 mile round trip from Virginia to Florida and back. We hit rain on both trips, with no moisture inside the bag. It is easy to setup and it comes all the straps you need. I did not use the door straps. I did use the straps on the bag and connected them to my rook rack basket. It’s HUGE and held my family of four plus grandma’s stuff with a tiny bit of room to spare. I highly recommend this carrier!

We are a family of 6 and went on a 5 day 4 night trip using this. We easily fit all of our luggage in it. It’s very durable and easy to put up. I highly recommend this product to large or small family’s. It fit perfect on our 2008 Tahoe.

We have never used a car top carrier but since my daughter was going to college we needed extra storage for the trip. We bought cargo hook straps and this was very easy to install with those. Watch a Youtube video, helps show you how to do it very easily. It held a lot more stuff than I was expecting, we had bags with clothes, linens, bedding and we had plenty more space. And of course driving from Chicago to New Orleans we did experience lots of rain, I mean downpours. Nothing inside got wet, except when we unzipped the carrier some of the water sitting on top go into the inside, but that was our fault. We had no issues while driving, it was very secure on the highways going 70 - 75 mph. Now it is zipped up in it's little case stored away for our next trip, very easy to store away when we are not using. And great value for the price. I'm very happy with this purchase!

The durability seems fine for dry, but the zipper is not so grand. Even with the bag not full I could see the teeth slightly off alignment. Drove about 75 mph in some areas over a 2000 mile drive. Fog and light rain through San Antonio left all the boxes in the front of the bag wet at the bottom. Velcro in the front does not stay - fixed at each fill up. Pretty disappointed in this product.

Strong, did the job for me. A lot cheaper than a hardside that needs a rack. I didn't drive in rain, but I did drive 80mph, and no problems.

Fantastic bit of kit! We've just used this for a camping trip. It held 2 SIMs, sleeping bags/pillows/blankets & towels for our whole family. The space this created inside our car was brilliant! It attached easily to the roof bars & we used the long straps around the middle for extra support, though this probably wasn't necessary, they were supplied so we used them. We drove for 3 hours each way, it did not budge, flap about, come undone or make any noise. It rained (only lightly) and everything stayed dry. We FULLY recommend this product!

J’ai achetée ce sac de toit pour partir en vacance à Perigueux (+400km de chez moi). Ma petite voiture ne me permettait pas de mettre toutes mes valises et les valises de mon bébé (oui un bébé c’est un vrai déménagement pour partir en vacance). J’ai installer le coffre de toit sur les barres de toi de ma voiture. Se place très facilement et rapidement avec la notice explicative et un peu de logique. Beaucoup plus pratique qu’un coffre de toit dur et surtout beaucoup moins chère, pour au final le même résultat ! Coffre de toi fournis avec toutes les sangles nécessaires et une sacoche de rangement pour ne pas l’abimer et ne pas prendre de place dans un placard. Aucun bruit/tremblement lors du trajet et sac étanche ayant rouler sous la pluie une bonne heure. J’ai pris en plus un tapis de toit (non fournis avec le coffre de toit) à poser en dessous du coffre pour ne pas prendre le risque de rayé le toit de ma voiture. En bref, je ne regrette absolument pas mon achat, bien au contraire, j’ai pu partir sereinement sans me demander si les valises et les souvenirs ramenés de vacances allaient tenir.

Wurde für den Sommerurlaub gekauft und hat sich bestens bewährt. 5.000 km Spanien mit dem Panda, zwei Erwachsenen und einem 13-jährigen Kind. Da musste die komplette Rückbank frei sein und der Kofferraum sollte ebenfalls leer bleiben, weil der auf der Rückfahrt mit Lebensmitteln vollzustopfen war (z.B. 22 kg Paella-Reis aus Valencia [Sorte "Bomba", der Beste] 😁). Also Heck-Fahrradständer zum Gepäckträger umgebaut und aufs Dach den Sailnovo Dachrucksack. Der hatte es nicht leicht, wurde bis zum Bersten mit Gepäck vollgestopft. Zwei große Vorteile: 1. Minimales Gewicht schränkt die Dachlast fürs Gepäck nicht ein. 2. Am Ziel angekommen wird er geleert, zusammengerollt und kommt in seiner kleinen Tragetasche (40x20x18cm) mit aufs Hotelzimmer. Das Autodach ist für Fahrten am Urlaubsort leer. Ergebnis: Der Rucksack hielt bombenfest auf dem Dach (Geschwindigkeiten bis 130 km/h gefahren). Keine Windgeräusche, kein Verrutschen. Unter ihm wurde noch das Bodyboard des Sohnes untergebracht. Zwischen Dach und Bodyboard, sowie zwischen Bodyboard und Dachsack jeweils eine Anti-Rutsch-Matte. Dichtigkeit: Deutschland hat uns Ende August mit strömendem Regen verabschiedet. Der hielt sich fast bis Genua (jedenfalls über 500 km). In Höhe Verona war der Wolkenbruch sogar so schlimm, dass es die Autobahn überschwemmte. Nach 2.500 Kilometern am Ziel angekommen war nur ein wirklich minimaler Wassereinbruch festzustellen, drei offen nahe dem Reißverschluß eingepackte Strandtücher waren leicht klamm und 5 T-Shirts ebenfalls. Der Rest: Salztrocken. Qualität allgemein: Extrem feste Außenhaut und ein Reißverschluß, der es auch problemlos verträgt, bei Überfüllung der Fuhre zum Schließen von beiden Seiten zugezerrt zu werden. Abschließendes Urteil. Ein absoluter Glückskauf und für den beschriebenen Zweck ideal. "Made in China" ....wir sollten uns daran gewöhnen, dass das durchaus für Qualität sprechen kann.
