Worked on 2.6 density foam
Great price and saved me about $300 for the expensive foam cutter I almost bought for my reupholstering project. I was skeptical this would work but for $20, it was worth it to try. This thing cut pretty straight and mostly smooth through 5” 2.6 density foam. I’m extremely happy with this purchase and would recommend for other DIYers cutting foam.

Proctor Silex knife
Had one of these when I got married, lasted me 25 years! Bought another brand and was not happy, the blades were not sharp. Bought the same brand and style that I had years ago and I am very pleased. Very sharp blades , easy to hold.

It works okay
So this is an item I use 1-2 times a year at most. Up until recently, I'd been using my mom's electric knife which had to be 30ish years old and finally gave out. So I bought this PS electric knife and it's okay. It did an adequate job so I can't complain about that. But it really doesn't feel like it will last - it had a "light burning smell" when the motor was running. It didn't feel solid (at least against the one I had been using for years). The plastic handle would slide around in my hand (that was a bit wet from working with moist food) so holding down the trigger while slicing was often difficult. I got it for a good price so I don't feel cheated but I'm disappointed that it wasn't a better experience
