Lanikai, 4-String Ukulele, Chrome (MASC)

This is an excellent intermediate player ukulele and quite a few steps above all entry level ukes. The solid mahogany body with a gloss finish looks more expensive than the actual price paid. Easy to setup to lower the action, and then very easy to play. I really like the fact that the neck is a tad wider than most standard ukuleles that allows a littler more room between the strings. Sounded a tad weak with the stock high-G, so I replaced it with a La Bella 100w Low-G and it really made a significant different in output and tone. Very nice foam semi-hard case included.

Very happy with the tone and playability of this Tenor Uke. I changed the G string to a wound low G, and it really gave it a nice full sound. Great for finger style too.Fit and finish is top notch.

娘のはじめてのコンサートサイズとして購入。購入時はおそらくアクイーラの弦だと思うが、テンションが強過ぎて弾きにくかったのでオルカスのライトテンションに張り替えたら弾きやすくなり、しばらく弾いていると音抜けも良くなってなかなかいい。購入時はいわゆる鳴らない感じがしたのでホットしている。塗装は綺麗だが分厚く、安いなりに頑張って美しく仕上げた感はある。塗装がマイナスポイント。将来的な鳴りの成長をこの分厚い塗装が妨げる可能性があり少し心配。ただし、仕上げ、音質、鳴り共に価格を考えたら相応かそれ以上のクオリティであると思う。ケースは頑丈だが大きすぎて頂けない。こんなに大きくなくても必要十分な耐衝撃性は確保出来るはずなのにもったいない。総評としては、デザインが気に入ればこの価格帯ではオススメ出来るレベルと思う。

初めてのウクレレ購入でした。好きなアーティストが使用していたラニカイを選びましたが、サイズはソプラノとコンサートで悩みました。ウクレレは小さくて弾きにくいイメージがあったので、結局少し大きめのコンサートサイズに決めました。デザインはもちろんですが、音の鳴りも響きも良く、大変満足しています。
