Good lens, even at sunset it performed well.
Quality beginner lens… if you’re thinking about buying an f2.8 or f4 but can’t justify it and need a decent zoom lens on a budget, I’d say this one is a good one.

Must Have Canon Accessory
I am having fun with this lens. Delivery was a little scary & confusing, you must be home to sign; mine stated delivered, but my ring camera said ‘not’ - it was left at the FedEx facility near by and I was able to pick it up the same day.

Functionality
Works well for the application I use it in. Have had it for 3 months so far and not complains. If you haven’t done research on it it’s a very front heavy lens if that is a factor for you. The picture quality is really sharp and clear, you can get good photos at a distance. Fully maxed out at the 400mm the picture does get noisy and you can see the grain in the picture which doesn’t make the photo the best, but for the price point compared to other lens it’s really good for what it is.

Shake inside barrel
Is it normal that my canon rf 100-400mm lens moves inside? I wanna say its the barrel inside that moves when i shake the lens side to side a little bit

Make sure it fits your camera
Didn’t fit my EOS and I was a charged a restocking fee when I sent it back even though I bought another lens that would fit my camera. Disappointing
