The product does work. The working configuration is as follows: 1). Power source: Turnigy 5.0, 20-30C discharge 5000mAh, the battery is charged to 12.0V, 2)The setting is : A-1, P-2, D-80.

When it arrived i was surprised about how small the whole item looked.
When it arrived i was surprised about how small the whole item looked. Because everything look like all of it was miniaturized many times from what you would expect it was going to be.. But still gave it a chance. it did look like it was going to weld the battery tabs on the first few but it got more difficult to keep getting a positive weld every time. til I had to start using a thinner tab to get it to weld more often. I don't recommend this for anyone thats welding more than a few welds or its going to agravat you more than your willing to deal with.

Great little spot welder - Works better than expected.
I order this spot welder after failed attempt with microwave oven transformer which work really bad.After opening the box, I connected the pens and a small 12v lead acid battery didnt change any configuration. it was a success from the first weld. increased the power from 50 to 65 and the results were perfect.This welder worked great right from the box, using the cables and pens came with it.the size of this welder card is a bit more than credit card, and a bit more than the Raspberry Pi. I found an old Raspberry pi case and it was almost a perfect match. i drilled holes for the cables, cut squer for the leds and buttons, closed it and used rubber band to keep everything in tact. perfect.there is a connector for an external foot pedal, but the delayed sens operation worked really well so Im not going to use that connector for now.I highly recommend this product.

Not a fan!
Tried 3 different batteries and most of the settings and it still wouldnt make a good weld on my batteries. I gave it to my friend and purchased a real spot welder.

Leads are undersized at 12ga, but maybe that is by design as I blew the mosfets after less than 50 welds. Could barely handle .15mm nickel at full power. Nickel plated steel worked just fine.The wholes on the case did not line up with the PCB.
