Finally a glue that mended a glass dish
I had been gifted a small glass dish which accidentally cracked. The dish has some sentimental meaning and I tried several glues to mend it, none of which worked for long. A friend recommended this adhesive and it has worked perfectly. The dish is back together (it was a clean break) and is holding well.

So Far, So Good
It seems to join and adhere to glass really well. The bond seems super-strong. However, SuperGlue also has a very strong initial bond that decays and becomes brittle within a year. I used this glass glue on a glass snowman's arm, and it lasted well over the Christmas holidays. If it falls off next year when I take it out, or the year after, I will just glue it again.

I didn't use it on glass but on a pottery plate.
It is very thin and runny. I used it on a pottery plate and I think it didn't work well because it is intended glass.

Worked Great For Minor Glass Repairs
This worked incredibly well for me, repairing some glassware that had broken off from the body of the piece. I didn't think I would be able to fix it, but this glue worked and didn't leave any residue. It's like you can still see where it was broken, but it doesn't look like I used a bottle of Elmer's to put it back together.

Just the right size
I have two beautiful glass candle holders that have been stored away for a decade because they were broken. Both are family heirlooms and we couldn't part with them even though they were unusable. I searched for some kind of a "glass soldering product" which everyone said didn't exist. Decided to cruise through Amazon to see if there was such a thing and here it was. But $34 an ounce?!! I only needed a drop or two for each candelabra and Amazon offered the tiny size that was around three bucks. I figured it was enough to try and see if it worked and the investment was small. IT WORKED!! It was easy to use. My son in law held it steady after I dripped a drop and the broken pieces are solidly reattached. And it dried CLEAR. What a product. It is worth it and I highly recommend it. Would buy again.

NOT for Auto Rear View MIRRORS!!!
I bought the Loctite Rear View Mirror specific glue and it FAILED in 5 days. Mirror fell off. It was not my first Rodeo, so everything was done correctly. Bond was just no good in Florida Heat. To add injury to FAILURE...just a day before it fell off I noticed a 1 inch crack going left and right from center of the Metal tab on windshield. I used just ONE DROP in center and pressed it up to the glass and held it in place for the proper amount of time. NO crack seen the next day when I put the mirror on. The "Activator" reaction with the glue must have had some serious heat that I didn't notice on my Thumb while holding it.So, I saw that this Glass Glue was good to 176F and decided to give a go. It was a Non Starter. I let it cure for 48 hours with just the small metal tab, I know..glass to glass for this glue..., put the mirror on and within 4 hours of sitting in the Garage it had fallen off. The residue stuck to the METAL more than the glass. lol If any of my Crystal ever breaks I'll try this on it.I'm now trying the Loctite 5 minute Epoxy that is only rated for 120F. I've seen temps of over 140F on my windshield, but so far it's held for the last 2 days.If this fails I will go with my Old Stand By....Permatex 5 Minute Epoxy...good to 180F. I've used this for Decades on my Golf Clubs and NEVER has the bond failed. Have to get out the Heat Gun to change shafts.I posted this review here in case someone else looking for something to put their Auto Mirror back on after the Glue made for it that they tried failed. Steer Clear and "my" suggestion is the PERMATEX 5 minute epoxy. I should have gone with that first.

ALMOST $100 WASTED ON DRIED UP LOCTITE
ALMOST $100 BUCKS GONE, TRASH, DRIED-UP & 1 LOST CUSTOMER(x3) @ $4.88 each - Loctite Super Glue Precision Pens(x5) @ $4.58 each - Loctite Super Glue(x2) @ $6.09 each - Loctite Epoxy Five Minute Instant Mix(x3) @ $8.64 each -Loctite Epoxy Instant Mix 1 Minute(x1) @ 7.87- Loctite Threadlocker Red14 items @ $89.56 with tax purchased from a few different storesI had a few projects needing to complete so I loaded up on the above items and within a month they were ALL DRIED UP and all the bottles unusable.I am not normally one to complain or leave a bad review and have always been a huge fan of Loctite until this happened over and over.So before I sent this in I did some research and tried a few different methods to soften them up and NO LUCK. GrrrrrThis is a very large expense for so many unsatisfactory results. I am on a very small disability income due to a brain aneurysm and life saving surgery so needless to say my projects haven't been completed because I don't have an extra $100 available. It would be very nice and help me a lot if you were able to either reimburse or replace these items since I wont be purchasing Loctite items moving forward.I'm sorry to be negative but thought you needed to hear this and maybe add a way to soften your products on your website, if there is a way, to help others.Heather

No Concerns - locktite by name and nature
I used this to repair the edge of a induction hob poorly installed resulting in two medium size chips. Like super glue this bonds almost instantly so make sure you practice your fit first. The bond is immediately very strong I gave a few taps as hard as I would give an undamaged sect and it is like a rock. I note this glue is also good for steel as well and have effected a successful repair on a small but stressed component, once again like a rock. One thing remember this is a type of superglue which works on being starved of oxygen, so if you get it between your fingers..........!
