I bought this mini rice cooker for my son’s new apartment and it’s been perfect. It’s compact, easy to use (just one button!), and cooks the rice just right every time. The size is great for small meals, and the non-stick coating makes cleanup super easy. I also love that it’s BPA-free and safe. Bonus: it’s really cute and doesn’t take up space on the counter. Functional, stylish, and a great little gift!

This is my daily rice cooker. I bought an instant pot hoping to make some good rice out of it but it failed so I bought this small rice cooker just for the dedicated rice. It’s been able to deliver consistent result am and I just eye ball the water level each time. It makes enough rice for a family of three. It’s affordable and adorable. Recommend.

I love this thing! It cooks rice well, and a good quantity. I use my Asian measuring device (index finger) and usually unplug right after it's finished cooking. It works well and was a good price. It's my daily rice cooker and is going strong.

Great. Compact & easy to use

This rice cooker is small enough for a single person or a couple. It makes a reasonable amount of perfectly cooked rice. However, there are a few things to note. First, I have not made a maximum amount of rice (or other items) because I have been still testing it at small amounts with only a few attempts that did not spew water from the steam vent. I have tried rice, oatmeal, and pasta with great success in the cooking quality and taste. However, almost every time when the water inside gets hot, the steam vent will bubble up the water out of the cooker. I have had to make sure that the area under and around the cooker is clear and able to withstand hot water. I am afraid to put a towel underneath it or even around it as the het vents are on the bottom of the device. I have reduced the amount of water and only made small portions to some degree of success. I have read that putting a teaspoon of oil in the water for pasta will stop the foaming, so I will try similar methods for rice and oatmeal. Also, when the rice is done cooking, the insertable container is extremely hot and it is not advisable to remove it with unprotected hands. It sits relatively flush with the rim, so even using pot holders is difficult to grab. The heat safe ladle that comes with it helps get the hot food out of the container even when it is in the cooker, but it is awkward. I would have preferred some detachable handle be included so that it can latch onto the container and aid in its removal. Cleaning is difficult when the water and liquid gets around the hinge of the top, even if the ridge on the rim usually keeps the electronics safe. I recommend investing in Q-Tips to clean out the area by the hinge that is not easily reached any other way. On a good note, the non-stick surface of the cooking container makes for easy cleanup of that part. The seal in the lid needs removed to wipe down and clean and the rubber gasket needs special attention to make sure that it doesn't fall off, but is cleaned correctly. I would have give it 3 stars for design, but it does produce perfectly cooked rice and other foods. So it does its job.
