Don't shine your light in her eyes.
I absolutely love this headlamp. I have had quite a few of them in the past and this one it by-far the best one yet. It is very bright, I like that it easily zooms in and out, flood light to spot light. But hte feature that I like the best is the auto-off when I come into a lighted area. I can't wait to go camping with it. When I use it outdoors in the dark, full brightness. When I walk into my trailer or cabin, it turns off. How great is that? This will make battery life so much longer. But by far the best part is I won't have to hear my wife yell at me (humor) when I come back in and forget to turn it off while the light is shinning in her eyes.Only down side: it is a little heavier than some. But then the lighter ones don't work this well.

Spectacular Headlamp Is Positively Dazzling
This is the most powerful flashlight I've ever worn on my head. Never mind that it's the only flashlight I've ever worn on my head -- it's fantastic. I'm a long-distance walker and I live in dread of someone running me down when I'm walking home from a sunset photo shoot. This will keep them at bay, especially in its strobe mode.I was walking around the neighborhood tonight, testing this triple-headed monster. I think the neighbors were terrified. It's so incredibly bright, it is downright painful to look directly at it. I'm going to have to dig up my eclipse glasses if I want to look at myself in the mirror while wearing it. And woe be unto anyone at whom I direct my gaze while it’s blazing at full tilt. They’ll be blinded, albeit temporarily.I was surprised to discover that the largest of its trio of light lenses slides outward or inward, telescoping its light beam either out to a wide circle or even further concentrating its wrath into a tight, spectacularly bright and menacing rectangle. Villains beware when you cry havoc! and let slip the dogs of war with this dazzling light-weapon. Tactical flashlight, indeed.I usually wear it over a hat, and once I adjusted it specifically for my oversized noggin, it felt like it belonged there. In fact, I'm wearing it now. I think I'll leave it on for while -- it makes me feel ... uh ... powerful. I swear to you I’m not exaggerating when I call it magnificent.

Use it everyday for work and it works great
I’m a contractor and I spend my entire day going up and down ladders into false ceilings pulling comm cable and fiber optics. Everyone on my crew has a headlamp of some kind but I’ve noticed a lot of issues with most of them. The biggest issue is having to turn them on and off every time you go up or come down a ladder to conserve battery. This can happen a 100 times or more a day and is a big nuisance. The second is that most of the lights everyone has are AA or AAA and are not rechargeable unless you buy rechargeable batteries.I wanted a light that had an automatic feauture that turned off the light when I was in lit areas, and turned on when in dark areas, i.e. up and down ladders into dark ceilings from lit rooms or hallways.I also wanted a rechargeable light so I didn’t have to keep buying batteries. To be able to just plug it into my truck via usb and it be ready to go the following morning was a necessity. This light was the only one i found that solved these issues and I absolutely love it. I keep it on all day long (sometimes 10 to 12 hours) on the auto “intelligent light sensing” mode. It will dim or shut off entirely depending on the available light and will brighten or fully light up when the surroundings are dark. Like all of my tools and equipment, i try to take as good of care of them as possible but I’ve still accidentally smacked it into pipes or ceiling grid many times without any issue. The only cons i can come up with (which aren’t many considering it’s only 20 bucks and works great) is that it does stick out quite a bit, which can make it hard when squeezing your head into tight areas. The other con is that the light sensor is located on the back of head on top of the battery compartment. This means it often will stay on but in a very dim mode even when in a lit room because the majority of my head is casting a shadow on the sensor or blocking the light in the room. I would prefer if it were mounted either directly on top of the center of the head band to get an unobstructed 360° range of view. Or a second sensor could be mounted on the front of the light pack which could work in conjunction with the original rear mounted sensor, thereby covering all angles. An improvement that would be a neat addition is to be able to adjust the sensitivity of the light sensor, but again, at $20 this is an awesome light.

Another great product from Street Cat
Another great product from Street Cat. This headlamp works great. Very bright. This model does not use the round connector to charge. It utilizes a rectangle fitting for charging similar to those found on old cell phones, GPS devises, etc. It plugs into a USB adapter so you can use the adapter to charge it or plug it into any USB Port (Laptop/ desktop, etc.). See the pictures on the Amazon web site. I did not use the light sensing feature so I cannot comment on that. Street Cat ships the headlamp out quickly and their support is top notch. I once a bad headlamp from them and they resolved it quickly allowing me to easily get another unit at no cost.

My favorite headlamp
I was a little skeptical because of the price, yes, you can buy cheaper headlamps that work too, however I wanted a good quality headlamp with a longer battery life. This light is well built, is the brightest light I own, heavier than a regular light but so anatomically correct that you don't notice the weight, it's comfortable to wear for an extended period of time. It comes with 2 large batteries (18650), with more juice than AA or AAA batteries, also includes the charger. Great product!

Great light and great price
The light is very bright and comfortable to wear. I really like having the USB charging also. It makes charging much easier and more versatile. I'm not a big fan of the adjustments for the focus of the beam. I have had trouble getting it to stay put while moving around.

Cheapest are better than this one!
Not a real zoomable as described. Are a deal breaker for me. Are more expensive than cheapest ones and are same quality as $15 ones. Not recommended...

Useful
So many times one needs the third had to hold the light, this gives the third hand and more. VERY bright and if in a dangerous situation, you are less of a target, the intruder shoots high...hopefully. Well made and would purchase again
