Eastern Grit (Rockfax Climbing Guide Series) Paperback – 30 April 2015

I have just recently made the move from bouldering to trad climbing so I thought I wound but this ad the Rockfax bouldering books are brilliant. The book is very comprehensive with descriptions and guides of how to find the crags then they have a clever symbol system to explain the routes eg:- time to walk into crag, wind, popularity and what strengths the route requires so that you know what to expect. All in all its a must for anybody new like myself and for anybody of any level of experience.

Great photo's, and up to date route gradings. I have the original on peak rock, which shows how long I've been climbing, and how much things have changed. This with eastern limestone covers the whole of the peaks. Do it the old fashion way turn up and have a go.

Great guide, this has all you need to get your hands on the right routes on the grit stone 👍🏻🧗🏿‍♂️

Perfect for crags like Stanage and Burbage. Good detail but check out the Psychi book covers (fit perfect) as have a few friends with battered old copies from the elements!Great for route finding and picking a couple of alternative climbs if the preferred spot is overcrowded.Have bought the Western Grit as well as the guides are perfect together.

I found the layout to be really clear and to provide lots of info about the various roles - I like the helpful keys to route grades, type of climb etc. I prefer this to other guide books that we have including the BMC one.

Husband is well happy with this new copy of the book!
