My 12yr old Son asked me to purchase this for him using the last of his Christmas money, and he is over the moon with it!!!My Husband collaborated and set up the drone (using the supplied step by step instructions) and he reports that it was a very simple process. The drone required very little charging prior to first use (the remote control is powered by 4 AAA batteries), which meant that my Son was able to play with it without having to wait for hours!!! We will need to charge it for longer the next time he plays with it.The drone performs aerobatic stunts, and can be flipped to 180 or 360 degrees at the touch of a button :) When the 'right way up' he lights up green, and when inverted the lights change to red :) Despite being a small and delicate machine, it is very intricate and robust, which is great as my Son & Husband have been thrashing it around our living room lol.I will update my review with a video of the drone in full action outside as soon as the great British weather improves lol.This drone is perfect for those who just want to play, which is exactly what we required. Great value for the money too.

After purchasing this product for a project that I wanted to do at college, I found this product to perform the job that I wanted it to do.Finding it easy to control while still able to photograph images at a reasonable height, I was pleased with first impressions.But unfortunately due to the light flimsy plastic that the mainframe is made out of, the product does lack in terms of wind conditions.Anywhere above 7.5 mph winds and this thing is almost impossible to control as the wind pushes the direction of the drone, meaning that you need to change your direction constantly just to go in a straight line.Overall this drone is designed for starters, like me who don't really have any idea on how to control a drone. But it is not designed for high level flight, as the mainframe is very light when compares to other drones.
